Mr Jonathan Borg Chief Executive Officer Transport Malta
Mr Borg has 35 years experience in the maritime sector. He is previously occupied the post of Chairperson of Yachting Malta and a member on the Malta Maritime Forum board. Mr Borg has been active in the Malta Maritime Forum for many years and joined the Board in May 2022. He has been of sterling service to the maritime industry across its various facets for all his working life. History of steering complex project plans, obtaining required resources, identifying, and mitigating risks. Possess an aptitude for steering research and analysis to introduce process improvement strategies. Build rapport with multicultural clients and stakeholders during extensive international travels. Comprehensive knowledge of Jack Up’s, Semi Sub’s, and Ultra-deepwater Vessels, Executed multiple projects in the Global Oil and Gas industry.

HON. CHRIS BONETT MP PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY FOR EUROPEAN FUNDS
Hon. Chris Bonett was elected in Parliament in March 2022 and was appointed as Parliamentary Secretary for European Funds within the Ministry for Economy, European Funds and Lands. In 2007, he graduated with a Doctor of Laws Degree from the University of Malta and in 2014 he graduated with a Masters of Law degree in Sports Law from De Montfort University in Leicester. Moreover, Hon. Bonett served as Vice President and Head of Legal and Football Governance Department of the Malta Football Association (MFA). He also served as UEFA Integrity Officer and as a member of the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body.
Furthermore, Hon. Bonett, served as Mayor of Gzira between 2007 and 2012 where he led various significant projects within this locality such as the opening of a Community Centre, the Gzira Public Library, the artificial turf training pitch for Gzira United Football Club, the embellishment of the Council of Europe Gardens, and other infrastructural projects.
He is married to Dr Maxilene Bonett and they have two children, Matteo and Luca.
