PASSIVE FIRE PROTECTION SOLUTIONS FOR PLUMBING Ryanfire have focused on product quality using stainless steel collar casings and graphite rubber linings manufactured in NZ. The plumbing industry is complex and requires critical forward planning to get it right. All our products have been comprehensively tested, and all fire test reports are available on request, or via the FPANZ Passive Fire Product Register NZ. No matter where you are in the planning or building stage, we can offer you expert guidance to achieve the required rating and protection. Plumbing, like electrical and seismic etc, require a range of different sizes, shapes and configurations of exit points in buildings. Our range is comprehensive because our passive fire protection solutions can be used for most substrates for wall and floor separations.

We recognise it can be a very time consuming and costly process if the passive fire solutions are not right the first time. We understand that there is consideration for location of the service penetrations, the type of service, the quantity of the services per penetration and all myriad of size criteria; all aimed at delivering a fire resistance rating that meets the NZ building code.

FIRE COLLARS Ryanfire SL Fire Collars are a stainless steel casing with fixing legs, pre-lined with a rubberised graphite loaded strap most commonly fixed around combustible Insulation, cable bundles or combustible pipes. They have a slimline profile to minimise service clearance.

APPLICATIONS Suitable for use around various types of insulation, combustible pipes, cables and Pair Coil services.

Ryanfire SL Collars are tested on various floor & wall substrates including trapezoidal tray-deck composite floors, timber infill, masonry and pre-cast concrete.

FEATURES • Standard sizes from 25mm to 160mm diameter.

BASIC INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS Position SL Collar hard up against the surface of the fixing substrate, secure mild steel fixings through each leg of the collar to a minimum embedment of 25mm.

Single layer plasterboard applications require Hollow Wall Anchors.

TD (DROP-IN) FIRE COLLARS Ryanfire TD Fire Collars are a stainless steel casing with fixing legs, pre-lined with a rubberised graphite loaded strap most commonly fixed around combustible Insulation, cable bundles or combustible pipes. They are design to be dropped into leave a flush surface.

APPLICATIONS Suitable for use around various types of insulation, combustible pipes, cables and Pair coil services.

BASIC INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS Position TD Collar around the penetrating pipe and push down into the substrate, until the tabs are flush with the surface of the substrate, secure mild steel fixings through each leg of the collar to a minimum embedment of 32mm. Any annular gap filled with Ryanfire Mastic between collar and substrate.

HPX GRAPHITE SEALANT Ryanfire HPX fire rated pressure exerting sealant is a specialised cohesive sealant used for sealing apertures around service penetrations passing through fire rated separations. It is a water based acrylic resin formulation that dries quickly on application.

APPLICATIONS • Cables • Combustible pipes • Cable conduits • Non-combustible pipes FIRE TESTING Tested in accordance with AS 1530.4-2014.

FPANZ Passive Product Registered.

DIMENSION & COLOUR Tube size: 310ml.

Colour: Grey Ryanfire recommend that all fire stopping products should be installed by a third-party accredited fire stopping contractor.
