All hospitals in Vinmec Healthcare System have a well-equipped Emergency Room (ER) outfitted with experienced, quick-response doctors and modern medical equipment to support patients in need of emergency and urgent care. Over the years, Vinmec has successfully provided high-quality emergency and urgent care services – often helping to save the lives of patients threatened by major or mass-numbered emergencies.

Every year, Vinmec hospitals successfully receive, admit and treat patients with acute coronary syndrome or acute heart failure in accordance with the standards of the American Heart Association (ACC/AHA), as well as patients undergoing stroke in accordance with the ANGLEs Initiative standards (a healthcare initiative helping hospitals worldwide to be ‘stroke-ready’ so that patients can be treated quickly and effectively). In exceptional cases, helicopters could be mobilized to provide timely emergency for patients.

Implementation of 04 advanced emergency resuscitation models

Rapid Rescue Team

Early detection of signs of acute changes in patients, and remote prevention of unwanted circulatory arrest (code blue triggers), departments may require RRT support to access and offer early intervention if the patient is indicated as needing intervention.

Multidisciplinary ICU rounds

The Core team (including doctors & nurses in emergency resuscitation - rehabilitation - nutrition - clinical pharmacy) examines ICU patients daily. Therefore, a daily comprehensive care treatment plan is discussed and agreed upon to achieve highly effective and safe treatment for the patient.

3 Management of sepsis in emergency resuscitation

Early recognition of warning signs when a patient has sepsis/undergoes septic shock and requires timely treatment, helping to circumvent severe septic shock developments, multi-organ failure, etc.

4 Telemedicine in Emergency Resuscitation

The utilization of telemedicine to synchronize the quality of treatment across the Vinmec Healthcare System’s network hospitals in the field of emergency resuscitation.

Orthopedics

Vinmec's Orthopedic Center encompasses comprehensively all aspects of musculoskeletal conditions, including hip, knee, elbow, reverse shoulder joints, etc. The center incorporates advanced technologies in treatment, such as 3D imaging and printing for bone and artificial joint reconstruction, personalized 3D-printed assistive devices, fabrication and application of novel materials for artificial joint construction, precise robotic-assisted surgical techniques, and ongoing research in arthroscopic procedures for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction in the knee joint.

Furthermore, the center also colaborate with Osaka Metropolitan University (Japan) to establish a dedicated Research Department focused on bone cancer. Experts from both sides focus on the application of 3D-printing materials in segmental limb reconstruction. This collaboration enables Vinmec's doctors to perform surgeries for bone and joint replacements in cancer patients, with a primary objective of limb preservation.

Benefiting from a highly skilled team of leading experts in Vietnam and stateof-the-art facilities, including hybrid operating rooms, robotic navigation systems, and advanced 4K arthroscopic equipment, patients seeking care at Vinmec are assured of receiving the highest quality of treatment.
