Candidates will participate in group investigations and a virtual reality survey to enhance their understanding of the topics surrounding the industry

Course Goal

The purpose of the Advanced level course is to provide industry professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary which will help them understand why it is of paramount importance that buildings are adequately protected from fire. The course aims to drive various industry working sectors towards compliance which in return will hopefully contribute to the correct decisions being made when fire protecting a building.

Upon completion of this course candidates will understand and gain skills and knowledge in the following areas:

2. Understand the importance of regulations and guidance in ensuring passive fire protection compliance

3. Understand the responsibilities and duties of the responsible person.

7. Identify incorrect specification and ask the right questions when it comes to discussing installations that don’t meet test standards.
