This book is part of "I Händelsernas Centrum" a project initiated by Konstfrämjandet Norrbotten, aiming to create art experiences that provide concrete examples of how culture and art influence our living environments, perception of places, and our quality of life in ongoing and imminent changes. As part of the project, students from the Child Culture Design program at HDK-Valand have created educational and co-creative activities together with children from three different schools in Kiruna. This collaboration has resulted in two temporary play sculptures in Kiruna's public urban spaces, one at the site of the old city center and one in the city's new center, as well as the book you are holding in your hand.
