We do sell ballet and tap shoes at the Trails Recreation Center. .

COOKING CAMP

MindCraft Trap Escape Room

Sugar and Spice Baking Camp

Can your student escape the MindCraft Trap? In this unique camp, kids learn codes/ciphers, figure out escape challenges and puzzles, and solve Minecraft inspired mysteries. Then, working with other avatars (other students), they will create their own mini, Minecraft-inspired escape room. Will they escape a mine full of creepers and skeletons, find treasure in an underwater temple, or triumph over the Nether dragon? It will be up to them! The last day of camp they will attempt our “MindCraft Trap Escape” experience where they must solve a series of puzzles or be caught in a clever contraption.

In this baking camp you will learn all of the basic knowledge needed to truly become a confident baker. This course will teach basic baking terminology, essential equipment and uses, ingredient functions, and a variety of other baking topics. In this hands-on class, your child will learn how to create their favorite treats in the kitchen! Both sessions use the same recipes, so you only need to sign up for one of the camps.

The District

Trails Park and Recreation District

On November 2, 2023, Arapahoe Park and Recreation District formally became Trails Park and Recreation District. This name change and rebrand was done to better inform our district residents and other community members about the variety of facilities, trails, recreational opportunities, and parks they have at their disposal. We currently own or maintain 20 parks, 9 trail systems, 3 facilities, and more than 300 acres of natural open space throughout Eastern Centennial and portions of unincorporated Arapahoe County. 4 baseball or softball fields 1 football field 12 playgrounds 1 sledding hill

6 outdoor basketball courts 1 frisbee disc golf course 9 multi-use sports field 25 miles of paved walking trails

Featured pictures include the pavilion, football field, and a baseball field at Spring Creek Park; a view of the creek from Piney Creek Trail; and the disc golf course at Tall Grass Park.
