1. Brings back the memories of camping as a child 2. All the hiking and adventures you get to go on 3. All the beautiful places you will see like the Oregon Coast, the forest, the trees, etc 4. The food! (s’mores, hotdogs, hamburgers, fish) 5. Enjoying every moment with my kids before they are too old and don’t want to hang around with mom and dad!

6. Playing games in the dark around the campfire.

7. Going Fishing 8. Getting dirty and it’s ok 9. Being one with Nature 10. And you cant forget - staying at the best camping spots all over the U.S. - Thousand Trails!

1. Family bonding time 2. Connecting more with nature and the outdoors 3. Peace and relaxation!

4. Gives us an opportunity to travel all over and see new things 5. S'mores!

6. Bonfires 7. Hiking 8. Don't have the hassle of looking for a hotel to rent and if it'll be nice and clean once you get there 9. Go to bed early and wake up early!

1. We get to spend time with the grandkids who live out of state, and they have a grand time!

2. Just being outdoors and enjoying the beautiful scenery from the parks at TT 3. Happiness is wearing our camping Crocks 4. Reasons to camp is to pass the wonderful memories down to the next generation to share and have and carry on 5. SMORES of course!

6. We get out and exercise more...lots of walks and bike rides!

7. Camping brings family and friends together... even the dogs love it!

8. Kids can study nature all around them...

9. The guys bring their motorcycles riding...at South Jetty and Leavenworth, makes them happy 10. Benton says don't forget to take him along...

What Are 10 Reasons You Love to Camp?

1. This is the view we had at the corner from our campsite at Hershey Thousand Trails. It is great to have such serene views.

2. I love cooking in the outdoors...and meeting all of the folks that walk by and say, my that smells good. It tastes better when it is cooked outside!

3. Carolina Landing - because it is the best of both worlds, you have the lake and the trees.

4. Your old friends that live in the area want to come see you...that is great!

5. Kenisee Lake - I love to make s'mores and what great fire rings they had - old drier barrels.

6. Las Vegas - in spite of all the cement and 119째 temps, we had a great patch of nature outside of our coach, and a tree!

7. Verde Valley - I love the beautiful sunsets.

8. Verde Valley - This is the ever changing mountains right across from the campground.

9. Verde Valley - There are many places to go see while camping.

10. Verde Valley - Camping brings family in from the other coast so you can share family time as well.

Fire starters - no matter what the weather we want a campfire. We spent hours talking to our teenagers around the camp fire 7. Hiking boots for exploring nature 8. Good book for quiet time 9. Comfortable chair to sit by the fire, and read the book or talk with family 10. A list of thousand trails campgrounds so we can plan our next camping trip!

Give Us 10 Reasons You Deserve a TT Camping Pack

1. Family outing 2. Good Food 3. Good Drinks (Oktoberfest beer) 4. Everyone got their own room!

5. Short trip to shopping in Leavenworth 6. Did I mention good drinks?

7. Fall colors of nature 8. Air is crisp 9. Sky is blue 10. Perfect Autumn days

1. Backpacking with a backpack that has holes in it means I lose things.

2. I can share it with my friends that dont have one, if I'm not going on a trip.

3. I would give you one if I had an extra.

4. I would send you pictures of your backpack from all of the cool places I get to go with it.

5. I shop at my outdoor shop all the time but dont have enough money to flat out buy a new pack unless I save for a while.

6. I hate going to the gym and would much rather be outside.

7. I pack other peoples trash out if I see it.

8. I live near the appalachian trail and do all sorts of trail magic.

9. Fall is here and really want to go backpacking with a nice pack.

10. I LOVE hiking and camping more than anyone else that might also deserve this pack.

Name Your 10 Favorite Things To Do While Camping 1. Spending time with my husband and if we are lucky our family & friends.

2. Finding new hiking trails in the area, along with sightseeing & exploring.

3. Food!! OMGosh yes the FOOD!!!

4. Campfires when allowed, just magical looking into the flames.

5. Swimming, ping pong, pool and other fun things TT has to offer.

6. Meeting new people and when they are grouchy about something, trying to make their day better by finding maybe a different way of looking at their complaint.

7. Just watching people, that is lots of fun for me.

Name Your 10 Favorite Things To Do While Camping 1. Spending quality time with family, eating dinner together with no video games…and feeding the ducks and geese when you wake up in the morning.

2. Candy Bingo! What a great way to give the kids adrenalin in the afternoon…and be a guaranteed winner!

3. Having the opportunity to sleep in an 8 person RV in the winter with a heater…and the kids persistent on setting up a tent site beside the RV site to spend teen time without the parents.

4. Fishing in the canal! What a great way to spend father/son/ daughter time!

5. Putt Putt Golf as a Family! What a way to let the parents show their kids who is still boss….or let them win one game every now and then.

6. Renting a TT Cabin at Wilderness Lakes on a Halloween weekend and not only do the kids have fun…the parents have fun…and the dogs even get to dress up for a contest that is sure to be a winner!

7. The Wilderness Lakes swimming pool! Imagine during fall and winter…and the pool is heated to a temperature that is perfect!

8. Friendly and courteous TT staff and security without worrying about the kids safety.

9. Karaoke at night!

10. Craft and selling vendors on the weekends.

What is Your Best Camping Memory?

When my son was sitting at the campfire with us and I say to him " It's getting close to curfew. You only have about 45 minutes to go see what the other kids are up to" and he replies " You know what mom? I'm really enjoying our conversation right now, so I think I wanna just hang out here with you" Love how you can connect with your kids while camping, sitting around the fire and just talking about any old thing, and they don't even realize how great that is to a parent. Made my whole camping trip wonderful! :)) - Stephanie B.

We have been members for 30 years so it is hard to pick a favorite so it would have to be when our daughter got married in Las Vegas and we hosted their reception at TT Las Vegas. Everyone was so nice and helpful and we all had a great time.

Spent too many years deploying and being separated from my family. Now we go out once a month to spend some family time together. We just joined TT and will be heading out for our first trip to Wilderness Lake next week. Here's a recent picture of horseshoes with my boy....it doesn't get much better than this.

One of our all time favorite memories of our camping experience is a resent stay at Medina Lake. As we were driving out of the preserve I happen to see a doe who had just given birth to a baby fawn and we watched the baby getting up and taking it's first steps! How exciting and what a miracle! There is nothing more beautiful than nature! Here are a few piks that were taken.

What is Your Best Camping Memory?

This past summer we went to Yosemite Lakes for 5 days. We had a site right on the river. I have a 9 year old that has high functioning autism and an athletic 4 year old. My 9 year old learned how to ride a 2 wheeler without training wheels our 2nd day there. So both boys were riding the loops over and over. Both my kids rafted from the bridge to our site multiple times. They also caught rainbow trout. Normally they won't eat fish but they were gobbling it up when it was hot off the grill. My husband and I have very demanding jobs so for us to escape with our boys and create adventures at Thousand Trails is something that will continue for years to come.

What is Your Best Camping Memory?

Favorite Camping Memory is, when I was a teenager my grandparents took me and my sisters and brother to Orlando in their motorhome! On the way home, from a week of fun in Orlando, the motorhome broke down in Rocky Mountain, North Carolina on interstate 95, my grandmother tried to make the best of the situation by cooking us lunch and we ate outside in the grass next to the highway in lawn chairs.

My grandmother has since past, but we all still talk about that time camping!

My fondest memories are from my childhood. I was the youngest of 5 siblings, I was always the one who "hung out� with my dad and uncle.

Fishing, camping etc. The fondest and funniest was when we were camping, and this was an old army tent, no bottom, leaky etc... It had begun to rain and with no floor the water came in like a river, soaking everything including me..I spent a miserably wet weekend, But I would do it all again. My dad passed away in 1995, but I think of that outing often...

What is Your Best Camping Memory?

So...we just got home from making another of our priceless camping memories! We spent this past weekend at the La Conner Thousand Trails celebrating Halloween La Conner style!!! This was our 4th LaConner Halloween. It has become our family's Halloween tradition...our 4 kids LOVE it!

We love the site decorating and the site to site trick or treating...the kids have so much fun they now bring friends AND we invited other Thousand Trails members who had never had the 'Halloween Experience'...we got them hooked!!

Our trip next Halloween will be that much more fun...the more the merrier at La Conner's Halloween Bash! There is something for everyone... young and old. We even saw some trick or treaters who were 'young at heart'...it was a good good time, and again we made priceless memories that will be with us, long after our children move on. Thank you La Conner staff!
