‘And now we welcome the New Year, full of things that have never been.’ It can be hard to maintain the enthusiasm for New Year’s Resolutions months after your initial ‘New Year, New Me’ inspiration, but nothing is impossible! Here are some tips for your resolution to (hopefully) make things a little easier.

ISSUE 4 : JANUARY 2016 Making your time with Trafford Leisure that little bit more interesting

Make It Positive!

Be Specific!

Set yourself definite targets to aim for! Say ‘I will lose 10lbs’ instead of ‘I want to lose weight’.

How about ‘I WILL eat more fruit’ instead of ‘I WON’T eat chocolate’? Instead of feeling deprived, you will just feel good about doing that little bit extra for yourself.

New Year’s Resolution Tips Tell People!

Sharing your resolution with others can make you more determined to achieve your goals.

Be Realistic!

Don’t resolve to run a marathon if you’ve never even run 5k! Setting achieveable goals makes you more likely to succeed.

Good luck and here’s to a healthy and happy 2016! FACT OF THE MONTH This year, you could reuse calendars from the years 1932, 1960 and 1988. Your 2016 calendar will be reusable in 2044, 2072 and 2112!
