If you didn’t get chance to get along to one of the sessions don’t worry because there will be one session (and one session only!!) To repeat it again at 1pm on 15th July 2014.

So if you haven’t attended a session make sure you book on as soon as possible.

A big thank you to all those who helped in the organising or presenting at the Staff Conferences. As i said at the end of each conference, Clare has set an unbelievable standard in our first two conferences, so i just don’t know what to expect next year!!

The last couple of months appears to have been all about our staff or the Trust receiving some recognition or other. Last

Golden Moments month’s Newsletter highlighted the North West Ambulance Award to the staff at Altrincham and George H Carnall, whilst this month highlights Trafford becoming the first ever area in the UK to gain Swim 21 essentials accreditation for the whole of the swimming network (a great achievement led by Emma involving all the swimming clubs in Trafford); the Trust winning the prestigious CIPFA Sir Harry Page Award (for the social return on investment report that we completed last year); and last but by no means least, Sue Cassidy picking up the RLSS National Trainer/Assessor of the Year Award. With Sue retiring in the next few weeks it’s an unbelievable high to go out on.

All of these awards and many of the others we have received recognise the great work you are all doing and whilst we may face challenging times ahead, if we can continue to excel and provide excellent service. We will continue to be recognised.

Bio: I was born in Sale in Ashton On Mersey and never moved anywhere else…. I am 19 years of age turning 20 soon (not looking forward to this) and I am profoundly deaf. I have been since I was 12 months old. I have a giant family with 5 brothers and a sister along with 2 nephews and 2 nieces (yep, it is a lot to take in). I have always played sports which is what made

We are looking for teams of up to 5 (including the “cameraman/woman”) to produce a 1 minute movie clip based on any famous film. We will then upload the films to Yammer for voting and the team of the winning film will each win a free cinema ticket (up to 5 in a team). The Trust has won the prestigious CIPFA Sir Harry Page Award for the social return on investment report.

This Award is made annually by CIPFA for an outstanding piece of work or an initiative focused on a particular technical matter within the field of public service accounting and financial management. Its purpose is to promote the technique, science and art of public finance and its presentation.

You will have already seen at our leisure centres that we are running a Zest World Cup Members Challenge. In this challenge members try to match the distances covered by world class footballers.

There are 3 levels with 8 players per level, once a level is completed they will receive a Zest football T-shirt.
