“This year we are diving in at the deep end” This year will be the biggest year yet for school swimming aquatic competitions here in Trafford with more dates added to accommodate the level of interest we have had from the local Primary and Secondary schools.

This year we plan on hosting 3 Primary School heats around the borough and then a Primary School final to be held at Sale Leisure Centre on Monday 2nd March. The boys’ team winner and girls’ team winners from this competition will go on to represent Trafford at the Greater Manchester School Games later in the year.

For the Secondary schools we have a programme that includes swimming events and water polo events – something for everyone – and the interest level has been high so far. Again the winners from these events go on to represent Trafford at the Greater Manchester School Games at Manchester Aquatic Centre.
