The last charity event of the year for the British Heart Foundation saw all sites take part in the Into Sport Charity Week. All sites donated their income from Into Sport sessions during the week and members who receive the sessions for free were asked to donate to The British

In addition staff also took part in a series of competitions throughout the week. The events were played in great spirit with the result of the week coming down to the netball match on the final day. Marsland House were crowned as overall Champions for the week. Event entry fees, donations and a badminton tournament lifted the total raised for the week to £580. This year we had an 1980’s theme with all the different sites dressing up tables and going that extra mile with some impressive designs. The winners were Altrincham and William Wroe Golf Courses with their ‘Its a Knock Out theme’, they won some goodies to share out amongst the staff

A huge thanks to everyone who took part and donated to such a great cause, it was a brilliant effort.

Jobs at Trafford Leisure

This month saw the 7th annual Staff Awards night and what a night it was! I don’t know about you but it seems like they are getting better and better each year.

Well done to all the people who made a real effort and came in their 80’s fancy dress. Well done everyone for helping The Trust reach and exceeding our target for The British Heart Foundation. The cheque was handed over on the night with the impressive total of £11,800 and all sites receiving a Golden Moment Award, well done to everyone!! You can see on the right the deserved winners and for more pictures from the evening turn to pages 3, 4 and 5, happy reading.
