As a travel all-rounder, I ensure that my guests experience the best of their destinations. Trafalgar delivers the magic...differently. All the planning is done for you, we have one of the most comfortable coach fleets in the industry, the best priority access to museums and attractions, and the best Local Specialists who bring places to life and reveal the special things that you couldn’t discover yourself.
The beauty lies in the details. I had one guest who knew that her family came from Croatia's island of Hvar. On the trip she asked the Local Specialist if she knew her surname. The Specialist knew exactly where her family was from and connected her with a great aunt. She was even able to see the old family home!
A fantastic day is when the group comes back from an experience and guests are literally in awe. Whether it's the first time they set their eyes upon the Eiffel Tower, take in the striking Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, or view the ancient city walls of Dubrovnik, I am humbled to be a part of the vacations that people dream about, experience, and then remember forever.
With a deep love for their hometowns, your Local Specialists will show you what the guidebooks can't. With a true insider's perspective of the must-sees and local secrets across the world, here are a few you might meet on our tours.

A smaller way to see more of the world

Small Group Tours with Trafalgar are designed to bring you closer to the heart of every destination.
With an average group size of 16 guests, you'll enjoy a more personal style of travel, with easier access to your Travel Director and more room to take in each experience.
Smaller group sizes open the door to places larger groups often miss, from tucked-away neighborhoods and stylish local restaurants to family-run stays and one-of-a-kind cultural experiences. From Borneo to Bilbao and Kenya to Costa Rica, our Small Group itineraries unlock incredible experiences all over the world.
This is still Trafalgar from start to finish. Your Travel Director, Driver and Local Specialists handle the logistics, routes, timings and local know-how behind the scenes, so you can stay present, travel effortlessly and experience each destination more deeply.

While icons like the Great Wall and the Terracotta Warriors define the journey, it’s the moments in between that stay with you. With a Be My Guest dinner in Beijing, practicing Tai Chi alongside locals and learning the art of dumplingmaking with a family in Xi'an, a smaller group makes each experience feel more personal. These are the connections that turn a trip into something far more meaningful, bringing China to life in a way that feels genuinely your own. Explore this tour further on (p.21).

Journey through some of the country’s most extraordinary landscapes. From the rugged beauty of Samburu, a standout destination few itineraries include, to the sweeping plains of the Maasai Mara, each stop reveals a different side of the region with greater access. Come face-to-face with one of Kenya's most powerful stories, meeting Najin and Fatu, the world’s last two northern white rhinos, creating a deeply personal connection to a species on the brink. Discover more about this tour on (p.17).

We know you have a lot of choices when it comes to your travels. When you choose Trafalgar, you're not only choosing a trusted travel provider that takes care of every detail, you're choosing a company that makes a tangible, positive and lasting impact.

Tell us about Trafalgar’s sustainability journey so far?
Vibrant communities aren't just a backdrop to our itineraries, they are the itinerary. And supporting them economically, culturally, and in the face of a changing climate is both our responsibility and our greatest opportunity.
In 2020, we launched our “How We Tread Right” program with 11 ambitious goals tied to the United Nations Sustainable Goals. By 2025, Trafalgar has integrated a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience into nearly every journey in our portfolio, eliminated single-use plastics on our coaches, and ensured 100% of animal experiences meet our strict Animal Welfare Policy. We’re now turning to the next chapter of Trafalgar’s sustainability journey which will see us step up our level of commitment in 2026, alongside our TreadRight Foundation.
What is the role of the TreadRight Foundation, and what projects do they support?
TreadRight was founded in 2008 and has supported around 60+ sustainable tourism projects worldwide aligned to our three pillars of Planet, People and Wildlife.
What ways does Trafalgar demonstrate its commitment to sustainable travel to guests?
When you travel with us, know that our four-point Climate Action Plan is leading us towards net-zero emissions by 2050. As a travel company working towards low carbon goals, you’ll be pleased to know that we’re committed to shrinking our carbon footprint by using biofuels and helping nature fight the climate crisis. Additionally, every tour includes a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience where our guests directly support United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
What’s Trafalgar’s approach to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI)?
We don't travel to see the same old things — we explore to meet different people, hear fresh ideas and see new places. For us, DEI is more than sustainability; it’s integral to our business operations. From championing diversity in our teams to partnering with underrepresented communities, DEI is woven into the fabric of everything we do.
Vibrant communities aren't just a backdrop to our itineraries, they are the itinerary.
Picture your dream vacation where you’re not just a tourist, but part of something bigger. On every tour you’ll join at least one MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience, each exclusively created so you can give back to people, places or wildlife. These experiences directly support 11 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring your journey leaves a lasting, positive impact. Here are just a few you could experience.
