OUR TOUR DIRECTOR ROBINA WAS EXCELLENT. Nothing was too much for her, she was amazingly attentive to all the passengers on the bus.

Very bubbly personality, always smiling and it is clear she absolutely loves her country and her job. Al the bus driver again I could not fault him, he often shuttled us around to and from town.

The bus was immaculate and I remember looking outside my hotel window late one afternoon to see him washing the bus after a very long days drive. From start to finish the tour, including the amazing cruise, was wonderful. I especially liked how we stayed 2 days in each area. Plenty of time to explore or do optional extras.

There were lots of eating options and our tour Director always had good ideas on where to eat and very reasonably priced. Much better than a previous tour I went on where meals were included.

gold seal protection Pre-Paid Cancellation Option NZ$129pp By paying the NZ$129 per person Cancellation Option, your deposit and/or payment to Costsaver will be refunded in full or you will have the option to carry it over to another Costsaver or TTC holiday should you cancel your holiday for any reason prior to 30 days from departure date from New Zealand. This cancellation option covers land arrangements made by Costsaver only. It is not applicable to airline deals. The Cancellation Option fee is not refundable for any reason.

If the New Zealand Government MFAT advice for the destination changes to either “High Risk - avoid all tourist and other non-essential travel”, or “Extreme Risk – we advise against all travel”, you may have your deposit and/or payment refunded at any time or you will have the option to carry it over to another TTC holiday.

On Your Holiday

You can complete this online in a few short minutes by simply providing the following details.

1. Your contact details, including an email address and mobile number that you will be travelling with.

2. The name of someone at home whom we can contact in case of an emergency.

3. Your passport and insurance details.

Should you, or your travel companion, leave at any time during the trip for personal sickness reasons or be required to return to New Zealand due to injury, illness or death, you and your companion will be refunded up to NZ$90 per person per day for the unused portion of the holiday (note that in some cases hotels require a one night cancellation fee). A doctor’s certificate is required.

Return Flight Security If you or a member of your direct family in New Zealand should fall sick* while you are on your Costsaver guided holiday, we will take care of the additional cost of tickets for your earlier or later return home in the same class of air travel on the first available flight, provided you hold round-trip tickets on Costsaver recommended airline(s) booked through Costsaver from New Zealand.
