Sustainable Hope

Hopeful Reuse

Artisans in Uganda practice upcycling by putting the country’s after-market waste to use in unique jewelry design. By employing local women as artisans to craft beautiful paper beads that are strung to create bracelets like the Ugandan Wrap Bracelet, opposite, this project gives the women and families hope with sustainable income.
