Dear Friends and Angus Cattlemen, Welcome to the First Annual KB Cattle Co. Production Sale.

Keith Bell, his father Merv and the managing partner Les Jones have assembled an impressive offering for their first Production Sale. These cattle combine performance with excellent phenotype to become competitors at any level in our industry. The genetics and EPDs represented on both sides of the pedigree are second to none. This is a well-balanced offering and quality is present throughout. The show heifer and donor prospects are halter broke and started. You have the opportunity to purchase progeny of and siblings to past champions including sibs to KB Max Out, the top selling lot in the 2009 Texas Limited Edition Sale. The bred heifers in the offering are from the heart of the replacements and KB is sharing two of their top donors, 5004 and 3070, an indication that KB is offering their very best.

The KB Futurity is a testament to the dedication KB Cattle Co. has to the Junior program and 4-H and FFA. I encourage all of those eligible to participate. Les, Brent, and the crew go the extra mile in terms of customer service to maximize the success of the juniors while making it a learning experience as well. We would like to invite you to Wills Point, Texas on October 25, 2009 to the 1st Annual KB Cattle Company Fall Production Sale. We are offering CATTLE you an exciting opportunity to add high quality COMPANY Angus cattle to your operation. We feel that there is truly something for every breeder of cattle in this sale.

What started as a friendship between Keith Bell and Les Jones and mutual desire to raise registered Angus Cattle, has grown into one of the top Angus herds in the southwest. Merv Bell, after his retirement, joined the team in 2001 as operations manager and a full time ranching business began.

Although this is our first Angus Production sale, we have been producing and merchandising high quality Angus cattle for the past 12 years.

Our joint spring heifer sale, The Texas Limited Edition, and private treaty sales have produced several winners and have allowed us to continue the expansion of our operation. Through aggressive selection and genetic management, our foundation donors have produced several Grand Champions at major shows.

Our base herd consists of cattle from Express Angus Ranches and Jones Stewart Angus. We breed Angus cattle that perform well and look good . We have raised cattle that have had success at all levels of competition from the show ring to the feed yard.

Every lot in this offering is hard for us to sell, that’s just how good they are. The two donors we are selling are as powerful as you can make them. The fall pairs are great and they have EXAR Titleist T011 and EXAR Spartan 6225 calves at side and are ready to breed back. The bred heifers are going to be great cows, they are all big and stout and are bred to some top bulls. As always, we pride ourselves on raising great show heifer prospects and we feel we have raised a great set of spring babies for your inspection and the fall yearlings will compete at any level.
