Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 2014 edition of The Eby Ranch Female Sale! We have titled our advertising as “The Big Picture Female Sale” and have included a great group of associate consignors that have the same goals as ours in their respective programs. We feel that the cattle illustrated in this sale book from Eby Ranch, Boss Cattle, Wildcat Creek Ranch, and Rock Creek Ranch are definitely a great cross section of each operation with many selected right off the top.

The versatile flexibility of the offering is simply amazing, unmatched, and very repetitious in type and kind regardless of breed affiliation or combination there of.

As indicative by the list of participants, these cattle are primarily managed from two of the best sources of forage in the cattle business, The Flint Hills and the Sand Hills. They exist in about as “real world” of an environment one could ask for and the experienced cattle we are offering have performed their due diligence to earn their place in each respective program. Eby Ranch, Boss Cattle, and Wildcat Creek have the same goals and priorities; cattle that are three dimensional in a phenotypically superior, low maintenance package that do not sacrifice fertility and production in their respective elements. Cattle first, cowboy/ cowgirl common sense second, and paper a distant third. We sell cattle by the pound in our commercial market place and have for many years, will that change and how are questions that won’t be answered anytime soon, it’s fact and that fact is your bottom line. The Rock Creek Ranch offering of Simgenetic bred females is one of unique opportunity. The Houck family has ran their Flint Hills based ranch just like a successful, disciplined cattlemen should.

No excuses, no tolerance of infertility, poor udder quality, bad feet, bad disposition, or mediocre performance. They just sold a load of ranch raised nine weight steers for over $2 and a load of seven plus weight cattle for over $240/cwt.
