As clothing makers, Tracker is involved in making sure that the production process is as environmentally friendly as possible, that the working environment is safeguarded in the best possible way and that our products do not contain dangerous chemicals.
Our factories must comply with a set of environmental requirements. At the same time we wish to create a good working environment and good working conditions for the employees at the factories.
Through company inspections, meetings, documentation checks and inspections the production and working conditions at the factories are controlled.

BCI Cotton - A more sustainable choice!
Our factory on t-shirt, pique and sweatshirt only buys BCI-branded cotton. The cotton that comes from BCI farmers and manufacturers uses minimal harmful chemicals, uses water in a sustainable way, and promotes fair and good working conditions.
Feathers and Down
It does not help if the down jacket is warm, if it is not produced in an ethical manner. Tracker strongly dissociates itself from the purchase of down that is picked from live birds. This ban is something all our suppliers is obliged to follow.
100% Responsible Down Standard
Our down jackets are certified according to RDS (Responsible Down Standard). RDS covers traceability and animal welfare throughout the supply chains to the finished product. Any removal of down and feathers from live birds is strictly prohibited. For more infomation, see www.responsibledown.org
merino wool
In our production of merino wool sweaters, we commit to only use factories that are certified according to RWS (Responsible Wool Standard). This guarantees that the wool used in our textile production is free of mulesing. You can read more about RWS at www.responsiblewool.org

Tracker’s jackets are made without using dangerous fluorine and carbon compounds. Several of our jackets are also labeled with BIONIC-FINISH®ECO, developed by RUDOLF GROUP, and are the latest technology to treat products ecologically so they become water repellent by imitating nature - without containing fluorocarbons.

In special production, each request is unique. We start by sending a request to the factory where we inquire about the possibilities and the way forward. request/order

Technical Terminology
Sweat
Overall term for all ”college” products, such as jogging pants or hooded sweatshirts. They can be made of cotton or a cotton/polyester blend.
Easy Care
The product has undergone a treatment, making it easier to wash and iron. The shirts do not wrinkle as much.
Two Ply
The product is woven with a double-spun yarn that makes the fabric more stable, soft and provides more distinct colours.
Egyptian Cotton
Cotton from Egypt has longer fibres, a finer sheen and a smoother and cosier surface than standard cotton.
Pima Cotton
One of the finest qualities of cotton there is. Pima Cotton is softer and more durable than ordinary cotton.
CoolDry®
Registered trademark. A technical material that enables the fabric to breathe and wicks or carries moisture away from the body. The material feels soft and cosy against the body.
Water Pressure (WP)
Indicates how much water pressure a piece of fabric can withstand before the water penetrates (WP). A value of 10 000 mm is needed in order for a fabric to be considered waterproof.
Indicates how much moisture the garment can wick away from the body within a 24-hour period. For example: MVP 10 000g means the garment wicks away 10 L of moisture per 24 hours.
Ripstop
A special reinforcement technique used in the weaving of fabric. The fabric is woven with a double thread at short, set intervals so that small tears do not propagate throughout the fabric. Makes the fabric extremely durable.
Washing Instructions
The appearance and life of the products depend a great deal on how you wash and treat the garment. If you take proper care of the garment, it will retain its colour, quality and shape longer. All our products come with washing instructions which are important to follow.
You will find a short explanation below of the most common symbols:
Washing
A wash tub symbol means that the garment can be washed in a machine or by hand. The number indicates the maximum temperature. A wash tub with a hand means that the garment can only be hand washed. A wash tub with an X means that the garment cannot be washed in water.
Drying
A square with a ring means that the garment can be dried in a tumble dryer. A square with an X means that the garment must not be dried in a tumble dryer. In general, drying in a tumble dryer should be avoided as this causes excess wear on the product and increases the risk of shrinkage.
Ironing
RETURNS AND RECLAMATION OF GOODS
All reclamations and returns must be agreed upon in advance before the goods are returned. The buyer, or the buyer’s representative, is responsible for checking the shipping label against the product and approving the goods before they undergo further processing. Any compensation for claims is limited to the purchase price of the goods.
Product returns must be done no later than 14 days after the date of the invoice. Returns older than 14 days will be reduced by 25% of the original value of the product. Returns older than 2 months from the date of the invoice will not be accepted.
Products must always be returned in the original packaging and in perfect condition.
