1) INTERNAL CONTROL: Nordisk Handelshus AS (NHH) is responsible for systematically preventing products from causing health or environmental damage. All products must comply with the applicable laws, regulations and standards in the countries where NHH’s products are on the market. Furthermore, we want to optimize and minimize the environmental impact of our products.

COTTON: Cotton is the world’s most popular natural fiber. It is soft, light and durable after wash and use.

Cotton is moisture absorbent which make the cotton clothing especially comfortable next to skin.

OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100: The production of our cotton garments is approved under Oeko-Tex Standard 100, which is an international certification system for textiles and clothing to prevent or strictly control the use of potentially hazardous materials in textiles.

BETTER COTTON INITIATIVE (BCI): Better Cotton Initiative was created to improve global cotton production, both for the people producing it and for the environment. In 2020, we want to move parts of our cotton production to BCI certified factories.

WOOL: Wool is a natural fiber with unique properties. The fiber is light and warm and the only fiber that still keeps you warm even when wet. Merino wool is especially known for its softness and fine fibers, and it is a good choice for next to skin products.

RESPONSIBLE WOOL STANDARD: In our production of merino wool sweaters we commit to using only wool from factories that are certified according to RWS (Responsible Wool Standard). This standard guarantees that the wool used in textile production is free of mulesing.

DOWN & FEATHER: Down has a totally superior ability to isolate. No other fiber can isolate as well as down while weighing as little.

RESPONSIBLE DOWN STANDARD: Our down jackets are certified according to RDS (Responsible Down Standard). RDS covers traceability and animal welfare throughout the supply chains to the finished product. Any removal of down and feathers from live birds is strictly prohibited. RETURNS AND RECLAMATION OF GOODS All reclamations and returns must be agreed upon in advance before the goods are returned.
