Le emozioni, le soddisfazioni e il senso di sfida che essa è in grado di offrire sono state mirabilmente scolpite nella letteratura da Hernst Hemingway e costituiscono la motivazione che ancora oggi spinge migliaia di appassionati a replicare quelle avventure. The emotions, the satisfactions and the great feeling of challenge that it’s able to provide have been admirably carved in literature by Hernst Hemingway and represent the motivation that still today pushes thousands of enthusiasts to try to replicate those adventures. Il sistema a doppia velocità Maxel 2-Speed è costituito da due meccanismi in acciaio inox che permettono la scelta tra un elevato rapporto di recupero e uno più lento, per aumentare la potenza. Il meccanismo di passaggio tra le due velocità è semplice e affidabile, basta premere il pulsante di cambio velocità e ruotare la manovella per ridurre il rapporto e poter combattere prede importanti; per tornare alla velocità superiore è sufficiente ripetere l’operazione, premendo il pulsante e girando la manovella.

Il pomello della manovella Power Knob di Maxel è stato progettato per ottenere la maggiore potenza con il minimo sforzo da parte del pescatore. Il progetto ha preso in considerazione l’anatomia della mano, del polso e dell’avambraccio per raggiungere risultati di assoluta eccellenza.

Il pomello di pre settaggio e la leva della frizione sono stati progettati per essere user friendly e consentire una regolazione precisa e costante nell’intervallo che va da FREE (frizione completamente aperta), a STRIKE (combattimento del pesce), fino a FULL (che esercita la massima pressione qualora ne aveste bisogno). Girate il pomello di pre settaggio in senso orario per aumentare la pressione e in senso antiorario per diminuirla.

Following the big success that the Maxel reels had in the market during the last season, here is the new model, designed for trolling with braided lines. The team of Maxel engineers worked hard to give to the anglers the opportunity to use an hyper technological reel, specifically for the braided users. It is the right model to fish with the downrigger and with the drift lead. To do so we increased the capacity of the spool, granting always the possibility to spool enough meters of the big diameter braided required. It is evident that for other specifications we did not change the good specs that made the SeaWolf and the SeaLion two between the best multipliers to be used on a boat.

L’XPS Soft Max è nato proprio per ricoprire quel ruolo, perché è particolarmente morbido, pur offrendo una superficie molto dura che difficilmente può essere intaccata da agenti esterni o dai denti dei pesci. La sua resistenza agli shock deriva dalla programmata elasticità, che gli permette di allungarsi brevemente per attutire improvvise sollecitazioni, come le violente abboccate che tanto frequentemente si manifestano nella pesca in mare. The downrigger link is connected to main line by a snap hooked to a nylon loop, done by a segment of nylon slightly thicker than main line. It grabs the line thanks to a Tony Peña knot, providing grip with no risk of damage. Creare un’asola all’estremità del tratto di filo e collegarlo alla lenza madre con un nodo semplice. Make a loop at the end of nylon segment and do a simple overhand knot to embrace the main line.

Il piombo guardiano consente di far navigare l’esca alla profondità desiderata, mantenendo il contatto con essa. Il sistema facilita la segnalazione dell’abboccata sulla canna e agevola la ferrata.

Chiudere il nodo senza stringerlo troppo. Tighten the knot without pulling it too much. Avvolgere il filo per 10-12 spire sulla madre lenza, lasciando aperta la prima ansa. Wind the nylon on main line for 10-12 turns, leaving an open hole at the start.

The light downrigger enables any live bait to swim at required depth, keeping the stable contact with it. This system enhances the bite detection on your rod tip and helps producing neat strikes.

Procedere a ritroso con una seconda spirale, infilando poi il capo del nylon nell’ansa lasciata aperta. Come back with a second spiral, passing the end into the open hole. Inumidire e serrare il nodo, facendo avvicinare le spire. Tagliare infine il baffetto rimasto. Lubricate and tighten the knot, making the coils slide together, then cut the remaining end.

The Doozer too is a full wire bait, so the trebles are connected straight to the bait structure and so can be the perfect solution for hard fights with big pelagic, without any risk to break it and loose the fish.
