HOW TO REGISTER ONLINE

Create your recreation account by visiting www.townofwindsor.ca.gov/registration and follow the instructions to sign the waiver prior to getting registered.

PLEASE NOTE

We reserve the right to cancel any course which has not met our minimum number of students. Classes and programs that have not met the minimum will be cancelled five business days before the start date of the class or program. Please register early to avoid cancellation of courses due to not fulfilling the minimum registrations.

REFUND POLICY

More than five business days before the date of the first class, participants may withdraw and receive a refund less a $5 processing fee per transaction. After five business days before the date of the class, no refunds will be given. A full refund will be issued only if a class or activity is canceled by the Parks & Recreation Department. Refunds take approximately three weeks to process.

Join us every Saturday for an engaging music class where participants will rehearse songs for a live performance at the end of the course. Prior music experience is not required. A wonderful opportunity to grow musical skills and have a great time!

Learn to read music and play a stringed instrument (Violin, Viola, or Cello) in this fun and exciting class! Students will learn to play songs and perform them live at our Spring Concert in May. No prior musical experience is required.

**An additional $100 instrument fee will be paid to instructors at the start of class (Cash, check, or Venmo). Fee will be waived for participants providing their own instruments.

This is a one hour yoga class at the Windsor Senior Recreation Center taught by Jessica Jauregui. It's a great class for those who have never tried yoga or have tried it were intimidated. Bring a mat if you have one - but not required as the instructor will provide mats and equipment.

This is a 5 week course where we learn and practice the skills needed to pass the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen test. Passing this test shows that your dog is friendly (but not jumping up), is OK with grooming, and has good obedience skills. Each week we will introduce 3 test items and practice them in class. Presented by the "The Windsor Bingo Club". This Bingo game includes coffee and a snack. Researchers around the world have found that playing Bingo has multiple health benefits for older adults. You can build social connections, increase hand-eye coordination, and maintain your cognitive abilities and focus. Overall, it is a very mentally stimulating game

American mahjong is played with four players and the goal of the game is to be the first, by picking and discarding, to match one's tiles to a specific hand from the annually distributed scorecard. Scoring is done by matching the points assigned to each pre-determined hand on the annually distributed card.

Ping Pong is a fun and challenging program for all skill levels. Play with friends and family or challenge one of the current Ping Pong players. Table tennis raises the heart rate, helps strengthen muscles, mobilizes the joints and, importantly, sharpens reaction times and hugely improves hand-eye coordination.

AARP TAX AIDE

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides in-person and virtual tax assistance free of charge with a special focus on taxpayers who are over 50 or have low-to-moderate income. Tax-Aide volunteers are located nationwide and are trained and IRS-certified every year. Must call after 1/8/24 to make an appointment (707) 582-0251.
