WINDSOR PARKS AMENITIES

The Town of Windsor is offering many new recreation programs. Please see the program descriptions on our website www.townofwindsor.ca.gov/registration or call 707-838-1260 for more information.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 currently exists in any public place where people are present and by using our facilities you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

HOW TO REGISTER ONLINE

Log in or create a new recreation account by visiting www.townofwindsor.ca.gov/registration and follow the instructions to sign the waiver prior to getting registered.

PLEASE NOTE

We reserve the right to cancel any course which has not met our minimum number of students. Classes and programs that have not met the minimum will be cancelled five business days before the start date of the class or program. Please register early to avoid cancellation of courses due to not fulfilling the minimum registrations.

REFUND POLICY

More than seven business days before the date of the first class, participants may withdraw and receive either a credit to their registration account less a $5 processing fee per transaction, or a refund less a $15 processing fee per transaction.

From seven to four business days before the date of the class, participants will receive 100% of the class fee credited to their registration account less the $5 processing fee per transaction.

From three business days before the date of the class, no refunds will be given.

A full refund will be issued only if a class or activity is canceled by the Parks & Recreation Department. Refunds take approximately three weeks to process. Credits on accounts will remain on the customer account for one year from the date of withdrawal.

POLÍTIA DE REEMBOLSO

Los créditos permanecerán en la cuenta del cliente durante un año a partir de la fecha.

ACCEPTING SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

The Town of Windsor offers financial assistance to eligible Windsor families. Our mission is to make recreational opportunities accessible for all Windsor youth.

Eligible families may qualify up to $200 per family while funds last. For applications and qualifications go to www.townofwindsor.ca.gov/scholarships For assistance call 707-838-1260

This fun-filled week will include multiple walking field trips around Windsor as well as utilizing the Huerta Gym for active group games, basketball, dodgeball and more! All campers must bring a refillable water bottle, 2 snacks, and a lunch. *Extended care available: 7:30-9:00am

$30R/$35NR, 3:30-5:30pm $35R/$40NR

Come learn the fundamentals of one of the greatest sports ever in a safe, non-contact environment! Our experienced coaches will teach the basics of flag-pulling, route-running, catching and throwing. All equipment is provided - participants should come with active clothing, snacks and a labeled water bottle.

Sports Spectacular Camp is the ultimate destination for young athletes looking to have a blast and make new friends! Whether your child is passionate about soccer, basketball, dodgeball or just fun tag games; our camp offers a variety of fun games and activities tailored to their interests. From friendly competitions to team challenges, every day is different!

FENCING AND ARCHERY ADVENTURE CAMP

CAMPAMENTO DE ESGRIMA Y TIRO CON ARCO

This is a beginners tennis camp where kids will learn the basics of tennis and play a variety of games to build skills. Get ready to learn to hit forehand and backhand ground strokes, volleys, and serves. It’s a ton of fun! Mr. Whitney has 20+ years experience teaching youth.

Learn to fence and shoot a bow! This fun camp is created with the beginning fencer and archer in mind. Bringing the ancient art of dueling into the modern world, instructor Jim Liebich teaches the modern style of the exciting sport of fencing. Camp participants also get to learn how to shoot a bow, playing the fun game called Warbow. Warbow is like Dodgeball, but with bows and foam-tipped arrows. One incredible week of fencing, archery, cross-training, games and more will give students a solid foundation in these Olympic sports, and a summer camp experience they'll NEVER forget. All equipment is provided. Be sure to dress for exercise and bring a hefty snack.

NAOA PICKLEBALL CAMP PICKLEBALL

The world’s fastest-growing sport is now a camp your kids will love. Pickleball has been described as a combination of tennis, badminton & ping pong. The game is easy to learn and tons of fun. Pickleball helps kids learn hand-eye coordination, agility and balance, and provides social interaction in a team setting. Campers are taught the fundamentals of serving and receiving the ball, volleying, dinking, positioning, and scoring.

Play-Well TEKnologies provides project-based programs designed to teach principles and methods of engineering to children using LEGO®. Our curriculum is designed by engineers, building on the math and science skills students learn during the school year.

Utilizing over 20,000 pieces of LEGO® for each class, we engage our students in solving real-world engineering challenges that explore concepts in physics, architecture, and engineering.

TEEN CPR, AED & FIRST AID

This class is designed to teach teens how to respond to first aid emergencies with first aid basics, rescue breathing, use of an AED, how to manage a choking emergency and properly administer CPR. It will cover some beginning babysitting basics. Upon completion, students will receive a CPR, AED & First Aid certification through the American Heart Association that is valid for two years.

**An additional $50 materials fee will be paid to instructor at start of class (Cash, check, or Venmo can be paid to Erin Cardiff - instructor)

Join us for the adventure, fun and pleasure of creating new stories and enhancing previously written ones. We will explore developing characters, simile, metaphor, onomatopoeia, alliteration, awakening the reader's senses, publication and much more. We will work together using polishing techniques that make your stories shine! If you choose, bring a piece of your writing to the first class.
