elcome to the Fall 2026 / Winter 2027 Recreation and Special Events guide! We have recently redesigned the guide with programs listed by age, making it easier to find the perfect program for you. Tiny is committed to building our program and events schedule every season. New for this season, we are pleased to offer Sk8 Georgian Bay Hockey Skating Lessons, Adult Guitar Lessons, and we are excited to offer our popular PA Day Camps. This fall we are introducing the Township of Tiny Play Portal app that works alongside the Township’s online registration system. The app makes it easier to browse programs, register for activities, receive notifications, and keep up to date with recreation opportunities on the go. Search for “Township of Tiny Play Portal” in the app store to download. How to Register for a Program There are several convenient ways to register: 1.You can download our new mobile app called “Township of Tiny Play Portal” in the app store. 2. How to Register

Registration and Payment

The Township of Tiny accepts various registration and payment methods for recreation programs. We recommend registering using the Play Portal as other options take longer to process and may result in being waitlisted.

Refunds, Withdrawals, and NSF Fees

Refunds will be issued to the original payee. Cash, cheque, and debit payments will be refunded by cheque, and online payments will be issued to the original card.

At least 2 weeks prior to the start date: Play Portal cc-visa cc-mastercard

Use the Play Portal to register and pay with Visa or MasterCard credit and debit cards. Cards can be saved to your account for future payments and refunds. By registering with the Play Portal, you can choose to defer payment until three weeks before the start date of the program. Note: A 5% processing fee is collected for online transactions.

Recreation and Special Events

A full credit on your account or a refund less a 5% processing fee if requested with at least 2 weeks notice before the start of the program.

Less than 2 weeks prior to the start date:

A 50% refund as a credit on your account only, less a 5% processing fee, unless the request is accompanied by a medical certificate.

Within 72 hours of the start date: No refund or credit, unless the request is accompanied by a medical certificate.

A full or prorated refund or credit with no processing fee will be provided if the township cancels a program due to weather, low registration or for an unforeseen circumstance. If the program can be rescheduled, no refund will be issued.

Deferred Payment and NSF Policy: Any

deferred payments that are declined will result in a $45 NSF fee. Registrants will receive an automatic notice of this charge when their payment is declined, along with instructions on how to pay the balance on their account. Failure to pay the account balance within 48 hours will result in a cancelled registration.

Tiny “Rail” Trail

The Tiny Trail is a 23-kilometre multi-use recreational trail that was converted from a rail line in 1978. It is part of the Trans Canada Trail network, stretching from Tiny/ Flos Line (near Elmvale) in the south to the southern outskirts of Penetanguishene in the north. Parking along the Trail Within Tiny, convenient parking options are available at Wyevale Park (10 Concession 5 East) and Bernie LeClair Parkette (99 Balm Beach Road West). Additionally, parking can be found at Overhead Bridge Trailhead (corner of Overhead Bridge Road and Robert Street West) in the Town of Penetanguishene. Snowmobiling on the Trail Snowmobiles are permitted on the trail with a valid permit. ATVs, dirt bikes, and street vehicles are not allowed. The Township and Georgian Bay Snowriders groom and maintain the Tiny Trail each winter. Learn more about permits, trail status, and conditions at www.tiny.ca/snowmobiling.

Indoor Facilities

The Township of Tiny owns multiple multiuse rental facilities throughout the township. These facilities provide a great space for many different types of events and are available for rent by Tiny residents, the general public, and local organizations. Outdoor Facilities

The Township of Tiny owns multiple parks and green spaces which contain amenities for outdoor play and sport. These facilities are not available for rent, but can be used on a first-come first-served basis. EP PK PP WV LA TO WB Pickleball Play

Tiny’s Off-Leash Dog Parks, are located at CBO Park (2 Winterset Avenue) and Toanche Park (771 Champlain Road). They are open daily from 6:00 AM to 9:30 PM between May 1 and October 31. Users should review the posted dog park rules at the enclosure entrances. During the winter months, from November 1 to March 31, the park operates with reduced hours (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM). Caution is advised when using the park in winter conditions.

Outdoor Rinks

Outdoor Rinks in Tiny are open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, seven days a week (weather permitting) and are free of charge. The township operates and manages three covered and one uncovered, natural outdoor ice rink surfaces in Perkinsfield, Lafontaine, Wyevale, and our new covered pavillion in Toanche Park.

Enhance your child’s imaginative exploration! Young artists embarking on their creative journey will delve into creating, painting, sculpting, and mixed-media techniques. Day Camp Programs

Camps in Tiny offer children of all ages a daily destination that gets them out of the house, learning, and having fun. PA Day Camps

Skating Programs Lessons begin January 12 at the Lafontaine Rink, January 13 at the Wyevale Rink, and January 14 at the Perkinsfield Rink. Note: Loaner equipment is available upon request.

Tiny’s new PA Day Camp offers children a fun, active, and engaging day off school, with games, outdoor play, creative activities, and caring staff who help them learn, connect, and make great memories.

Looking for something fun to do? The Township of Tiny offers a variety of Youth Drop-in Programs all season long. Youth Soccer

Develop your soccer skills in this fun, noncompetitive six-week program. Players will learn basic skills through age-appropriate activities and scrimmages, with a focus on teamwork, movement, and building confidence on the field. First-Aid Programs

Expand on Basic First Aid with advanced training in handling a wide range of emergencies, recognized by Ontario WSIB. Intermediate First-Aid with CPR-C and AED Intermediate First Aid includes all aspects of Basic First Aid and provides additional comprehensive first aid training. Candidates demonstrate first aid care for anaphylaxis, shock, stroke, amputations, facial injuries, burn injuries, fractures and dislocations, neck or spinal column injuries, seizures, diabetic emergencies, and environmental injury and illness. Each season, the Township offers a variety of Sport Loaner Kits through our Affordable Recreation Program. Borrow a free kit containing all the equipment needed to enjoy outdoor activities in your backyard or at your favourite Township park. Discover disc golf together! This family‑friendly program welcomes children ages 10+ to play alongside a parent or family member, starting each week with 30 minutes of guided instruction followed by an hour of fun, confidence‑building gameplay on a local course. All equipment is provided, and the program wraps up with a celebratory pizza party.

Our Affordable Recreation Program offers financial assistance, and access to sport and fitness equipment to ensure that financial contraints do not prevent anyone from participating in our recreation programs.

Low impact gentle fitness program specifically designed for adults 55+ to help build muscle strength, balance, endurance, flexibility, and mobility.

Schedule a court for you and your team during designated times to play the fastest growing sport in North Simcoe. Forest Therapy Respite Program for Older Adults and Their Care Partners NEW

This free, small‑group Forest Therapy program welcomes older adults experiencing dementia or frailty and their care partners (any age). Led by a certified Forest Therapy Guide, participants will engage in gentle, sensory‑based nature experiences designed to promote relaxation, connection, and well‑being. Sessions take place outdoors and conclude with time for socialization and light refreshments. Participants attend together as a pair, supporting meaningful shared experiences in a supportive community setting. Offered in partnership with North Simcoe Muskoka Specialized Geriatric Services.
