HIGH-SPEED INTERNET INSTRUCTIONS

Connect to Wireless

For wireless use in guest rooms, hotel Lobby, business center, meeting rooms, and any public areas:

Using your device’s wireless connection, search for wireless networks and connect to your venue’s network name or SSID beginning with “BW”. Proceed to sign-in.

Trouble Connecting

Guest WiFi networks require you to login. If you are having issues connecting to the WiFi, it’s always best to reboot your device and try reconnecting. This clears any previous connections and should allow you to reach the login page.

Signing-In Problems

Recent software changes may prevent your device from reaching the login page. Open your web browser and visit a non-HTTPS page, such as www.usa.com. You will be directed automatically to the sign-in page. Once you read and agree to the Terms of Service, enter the access code provided by the front desk and then click “I Agree”. You will then be redirected to the Home Page and allowed to use the Internet.

Game Console and Streaming Media Boxes

If you are traveling with an Xbox, PlayStation, Roku, Apple TV, or other media device and are having problems connecting, please locate the MAC address and call our support team to have your device authenticated.

SAFETY AND SECURITY TIPS

Fire Safety Tips

Please review the location of exits, alarms, and fire equipment on your floor as soon after check-in as is practical. A copy of your guest floor plan is located on the back of your door. Also, know how to turn off your air conditioner.

In case of fire

• Keep your room key with you at all times.

• Use the stairs to exit, not the elevators.

• Stay low in smoky areas.

• Remain calm.

If the fire is in your room

• Leave the room and close the door.

• Activate the nearest alarm box, if possible.

• Call the hotel operator on the nearest phone by pressing 0 and specify the location of the fire.

• Go to the nearest stairwell and walk down to the ground floor.

If the fire is outside your room

• Take your room key with you.

• Touch the door handle and frame to see if they are hot. If they are not, open the door carefully, keeping low as you do so.

• If possible, go to the nearest stairwell and go down to exit the building or enter a safe floor.

If the door is hot

• Stay in your room and keep the door shut.

• Turn off the air conditioner.

• Fill the bathtub with water so you have a water supply.

• Place wet towels along the bottom of the door and over any vents where there is smoke.

• Press 0 to let the hotel operator know your location.

• Stay low and below any smoke in the room.

Security Tips

Your safety and security of your personal property are of great concern to us. We urge you to take advantage of the following suggestions:

Double Lock

For additional security, utilize the deadbolt provided on your door upon entering. This will prevent the door from being opened by a regular room key.

Admittance

Do not admit persons to your room without first making identification. A viewer is provided in your door for your convenience. If there is any doubt about the person’s identity, please contact the front desk.

Keys

Safeguard your key. Be sure to leave it with the cashier upon departure. Do not leave it in your room or in the door. Do not give your key to others.

This property is privately owned and its privileges are discretionary with the management. We ask that the room be occupied only by the persons to whom it was rented. Persons renting the rooms are responsible for undue destruction. We are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss of property by fire, theft, or other causes.

Traveler Safety Tips

• Don’t answer the door in a hotel or motel room without verifying who it is. If a person claims to be an employee, call the front desk and ask if someone from their staff is supposed to have access to your room and for what purpose.

• When returning to your hotel or motel in the evening, use the main entrance. Be observant and look around before entering parking lots.

• Close the door securely when you are in your room and use all of the locking devices provided.

• Don’t needlessly display guest room keys in public or leave them lying around on tables or in the pool area, where they could easily be stolen.

• Do not draw attention to yourself by displaying large amounts of cash or expensive jewelry.

• Do not invite strangers to your room.

• Place all valuables in the hotel’s safe deposit box.

• Do not leave valuables in your vehicle.

• Check to see that all sliding glass doors or windows and any connecting room doors are locked.

• If you see any suspicious activity, please report your observations to the management.

The five Ringlings began their circus in 1884 and, over the next 34 years, grew into the largest outdoor amusement enterprise the world has ever known. Baraboo was their winter headquarters through 1918. Other shows, including the Gollmar Brothers Circus, also operated

from Baraboo. Circus World is the largest facility of its kind in the world, and each summer presents spectacular live programs that bring the circus to life.

This national historic landmark includes original Ringling buildings, the world’s largest collection of antique circus wagons, acres of great exhibits, and the top Circus Research Center.

Devil’s Lake State Park

The Gem City

Baraboo, the Gem City, is supposed to have been named for Jean Baribault (the spelling gradually changed to Baraboo), a French trader and trapper who is said to have bartered with the Indians near the mouth of the stream which bears his name. First the river was called Baraboo, spelled in various ways, then the name was applied to the hills, to the city, and to the town. The name Gem City is derived from the semiprecious stones abounding in the bluffs surrounding Devil’s Lake.

The International Crane Foundation is the world center for the study, propagation, and preservation of endangered cranes. The Foundation’s scenic 160-acre site features a dozen crane pairs on display, a hatchery and brood house, slide show and video presentation, gift shop, exhibits, baby cranes in an exercise yard, and crane walks. Nature trails pass through restored prairie and wetland, with abundant flowers from April to October.

Ochsner Park Zoo

Mid-Continent Railway
