Johannesburg South suburbs offer attractive residential opportunities.
This part of Gauteng provides value for money, close proximity to a variety of Schools, Malls, Restaurants, Churches, and the Freeway Network to Sandton, Pretoria and OR Tambo. Properties on offer range from flats, townhouses, clusters, and standalone house. New suburbs being developed 15 to 20 minutes from Alberton such as Sky City provide affordable starter homes. Lastly, Lifestyle estates are starting to make a major change to the housing market.
Apart from offering a home to young single people, couples and families the area offers income generating investment opportunities to business owners and professionals. Apart from the obvious buy-to-rent or buy-to-renovate-sell, a popular trend is to purchase a property with cottage/garden flatlet potential. Generally the land sizes are large enough to accommodate division into three rental units from one property purchase. Especially popular are properties allowing for separate entrances and internal division with fencing/walls. This provides the owner with three rental incomes, and tenants with pet friendly privacy.
At Jawitz Properties – Alberton, Jhb South and Germiston our team of property specialists are busy helping clients across the numerous suburbs. We have excellent support from our Office Administrator, Bond Originators and local Transfer Attorneys.
In spite of the negative sentiment attributed to load shedding, water shortages, petrol prices, inflation, interest rates, etc. we are still committed to providing South Africans with hope and dreams of owning a home in our beautiful country.
A huge welcome & thank you to all the users and listed local businesses of the Town On Tap platform.
With great excitement we are now adding our brand new monthly online publication to the Town On Tap platform. As we are already firmly into the first quarter of 2023 so let’s make many positive memories together this year.
There is no doubt that the future of business in South Africa (and around the world) lies in the hands of entrepreneurs, small business and the support of local communities. For this very reason Town On Tap has been focused on highlighting small business to local residents.
Let’s make 2023 another memorable year and keep supporting local business.
On behalf of the entire TOWN ON TAP team.
I am so very proud of how Town On Tap has grown in each community. When launching in Alberton it was clear that there was an excitement amongst local business and residents alike to support one another. Together we all knew that supporting one another was the key to great success for all of us.
As we enter our 3rd year, this platform is filled with like minded business owners and a community that believes in supporting local business. It has been a privilege to watch how everyone pulls together under trying and stressful conditions we deal with here in our beautiful country.
So...thank you to all of my listed clients for without fail providing the high level of service and support to locals at any given time. Your commitment makes it all worthwhile. I look forward to being of service to every one of you in 2023.
All of us at Town On Tap realise the importance of family and friends and what better than to sit down at home over a good meal and talk about changing the world.
Isn’t it strange how when talking about food we always seem to bring up delicious food, puddings or cakes made by Aunty so and so, or uncle Pieter who “braaied” the best boerewors, “Ouma” who baked the best Malva pudding after a delicious Sunday roast. No matter who the families are – olden day feasts, smells and recipes always become a part of the conversation..
For this reason, we have decided to share some of our families secret recipes' and we would love to share yours as well.
Please send us any of them that you would like to include into our march edition and lets get the tradition going.
Send us your good old favorites family recipe and the ones we publish will each receive a good bottle of wine courtesy of Team Town On Tap.
This month's recipes received from Peggy Fourie’s recipe book that she collected over the past 70 years. Thank you, Peggy, – Your bottle of wine is on its way.
