AKASU PALLIATIVE CARE SOCIETY Our team supports individuals & their families with understanding and palliative care as they transition through grief, loss & end of life. We encourage strong community connections and facilitate bereavement workshops and volunteer training. We have played a major role in the development and maintenance of the palliative care suite at St. Joseph's General Hospital (consisting of a patient room and adjacent family room allowing overnight stays), plus continue to provide equipment and comfort measures for both residents and families at Vegreville Care Centre and Two Hills Hospital.
