Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. the Town of Vegreville hosted the 14th Annual Household Hazardous Waste Round-Up at the Central Recycling Drop-Off Centre, 4822-51 Avenue

Processors on site were Clean Harbors Canada and Quantum Lifecycle Partners LP

Clean Harbors accepted 2,278 kg’s of paint and spray paint aerosols

1,390 kg’s of household hazardous wastes - toxics, flammables, corrosives (solids/liquids/ aerosols)

Quantum Lifecycle Partners accepted 1,285 kg’s program material electronic waste

1,039 kg’s of pilot electronics

703 kg’s single use/rechargeable batteries, cell phones and automotive batteries

776 kg’s oil and oil filters

100 kg’s automotive and chemical containers

477 kg’s tires 467 kg’s fluorescent bulbs, incandescent bulbs, inks and toners 609 kg’s propane tanks, metals, glass and fire extinguishers 2023– 9,124 kg’s/20,100 lbs
