The results of the Town of Erie 2021 Community Survey tell us that the Town is offering services and amenities that work.

• Roughly nine in ten residents rate their overall quality of life as excellent or good.

• 92% rate Erie as an excellent or good place to live and raise a family.

• 95% of residents say they talk to their neighbors.

• 91% feel safe—a rating higher than in comparison to communities nationwide.

• The majority of residents appreciate customer service from Town government, and believe the community is good at making all residents feel welcome.

• 90% of residents are likely to recommend Erie as a place to live to someone who asks.

The Town believes special events keep our community spirit glowing—you’ll have your pick of festivals and unique activities throughout the year. One town favorite is the Erie Town Fair and Hot Air Balloon Festival, celebrated every May. See more information about events on page 4 of this booklet.

Visit www.erieco.gov to start your search for answers to everything from how to pay your utility bill online to locating the fitness class that’s right for you. Be sure to search for “Notify Me” to register for email or text notifications. Once registered, you’ll stay in-the-know on what’s happening in local government, your neighborhood, and our community.
