During the renovations of the Veterans Memorial Building all classes for seniors will continue to be held at the Town Meeting Hall, Village Theatre, and the Danville and Oak Hill Park Community Centers. Please check the Silver Streak Newsletter for location changes for your favorite class, program or event. Saturday, April 30, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. The Town of Danville and an estimated 100 volunteers from the community are joining forces to Lend-a-Hand in the community by helping older adults in need who reside in the Danville local area. The annual Lend-a-Hand Day event, now in its eighth year, provides senior citizens no-cost yard cleanup and minor home repairs. The event will take place on Saturday, April 30, from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
