This trial pass is available for first-time visitors; includes access to the Natural High Fitness Centre, drop-in fitness classes, swimming pools, hot tub, dry sauna, drop-in skating, and drop-in gymnasium times.
Pass valid for 10 consecutive calendar days upon initial visit. Offer not eligible to past or current passholders.
Continuous All-Facility Pass
Enjoy automatic access to our facilities and programs each month with our new Continuous Pass. Simply initiate the pass, and it will remain active until you choose to cancel.
Convenient monthly payments are automatically deducted from your chosen credit card or bank account.
REQUIREMENTS:
▪ A completed Recreation Payment Authorization Form must be received to initiate the pass.
▪ There is a minimum 3-month enrollment period.
▪ To withdraw from the pass, submit a completed Facility Pass Withdrawal Form.
▪ A minimum $35.00 fee will be charged for all “Not Sufficient Funds” (NSF), declined payment charges, or any other reason for a non-payment.
▪ The NSF must be paid prior to a new month pass being purchased.

You can apply online today. This program supports children from three months to 18 years of age, adults and seniors. Qualified residents receive up to 80% off most Town of Okotoks programs, recreation passes and admissions. Please note, children’s day camps are limited to a $200 subsidy per year.

Funding is available to support children ages 4 to 18 years old who are participating in sports and recreation. Only sustained activities are funded, including sports camps running for a minimum of five consecutive days, or sports and recreational activities running for a minimum of five weeks. Apply online: funding subject to availability.
Waiting Lists
If a program is full, express your interest by putting your name on the waitlist. New classes may be added based on waitlist numbers. You will be contacted if a space becomes available or an additional class is scheduled.
Cancellations
All classes/courses are subject to cancellation if there are insufficient registrations. We will notify you once a cancellation decision has been made. If the Town of Okotoks cancels a program, you are entitled to a full refund or you may register for another program, space permitting.
Withdrawals
If you withdraw from a class/course at least seven days before the start date, a 10% cancellation fee, per registration, will be applied to your refund or credit. No credit will be issued if the withdrawal occurs less than seven days from the start date or after a program starts, except for medical reasons (physician’s note required). Withdrawal from programs for medical reasons will be effective from the date of the note and must be received by the Customer Experience team prior to the program end date.
Promotional, 1-Month and 10x All Facility Passes cannot be canceled or refunded. Annual All-Facility Passes may be considered for cancellation and / or refund pending medical or relocation reasons and offered at a prorated fee. A medical note or documentation providing proof of relocation and Facility Pass Withdrawal Form must be completed to request the cancellation.
Continuous All-Facility Passes cancellation requests must be submitted on or before the 15th of the month and will be effective on the 1st of the following month.
Credits and Refunds on Account
If a course cancellation, withdrawal or transfer results in a credit, the credit can be refunded. Credits can also be applied towards another Town activity or transferred to an Okotoks Recreation Centre/Okotoks Art Gallery gift card. Credits expire one year from the date that the credit was issued. For credits over $50, we will make every effort to contact you prior to the expiration but any unclaimed credits will be cleared to zero from your account. Unused credits under $50 will automatically be cleared to zero from your account upon expiry.

Welcome to the wonderful world of babysitting! When accepting a job to care for young children, you are providing a valuable service to families and to the community at large. This course will help prepare you to respond appropriately in common situations that may arise while children are under your care as a babysitter. To receive the Canada Safety Council Babysitting Certificate, the participant must receive at least 75% on the final exam and be 12 years of age or turning 12 within the calendar year. It is important that participants attend both days in order to successfully complete the course. A Babysitting Course manual can be picked up at the Okotoks Recreation Centre prior to the course as registrants are encouraged to read it prior to the first day. Not sure about what swimming lesson your child belongs in? We offer free swim assessments during any of our public swim times. The process typically takes 5-10 minutes per participant, and you will leave with a suggested level for registration. If you’d like to stay and swim after your assessment, just let our Customer Experience team at the front desk know, and they will charge you an admission fee.

The Lifesaving Society’s 3 level Canadian Swim Patrol program is for swimmers who are ready to go beyond learn-to-swim. The programs focus on developing strength and proficiency while introducing swimmers to the challenging world of lifesaving. Swimmers will have fun enhancing their capability in the water, increasing their physical conditioning, and learning lifesaving judgment. Each level will continue to develop swimmers’ strokes and provide a skill foundation that will prepare them for success in the Society’s Bronze Medal Awards. SUMMER DAY CAMPS
Welcome
Summer day camps run July through August and offer a variety of camps for children aged 4-14. Each camp will focus on its general theme each day while also engaging in other fun camp activities such as art, games, and physical activity both indoors and outdoors! All camps, unless otherwise specified, run from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Our mission is to provide high-quality programming that is engaging, fun, energetic, and designed to foster growth in the children.
Camp Options
Daily and Weekly Option Camps: Register for a full week or select daily option camps to join in on the fun!
Mini Movers (4-5yrs) Full-day weekly and half-day (AM) daily options.
Playmakers (6-7yrs) Multiple full-day weekly and daily camp themes.
All-Stars (8-12yrs) Multiple full-day weekly and daily camp themes.
Specialty Camps Full week options only, camp hours and ages vary. These camps are designed for campers to attend each day, and do not go on the weekly field trip.

Camp Locations
Drop off and pick up for all camps, unless otherwise outlined, is at the Okotoks Recreation Centre in the Curling Rink. To access, please use the main front doors of the Okotoks Recreation Centre.

Full payment for all camps is due at the time of registration or payment plans are available if a child is registered for 3 or more weeks. Payment plan inquiries can be sent to programs@okotoks.ca.
Camp Programming
Please note that camp descriptions and themes represent programming possibilities. Camp leaders are encouraged to alter camps to best meet their group’s needs and adapt to weather conditions. Specialty camps focus on specialized activity for at least two hours each day.
What to Bring?
▪ Hats, sunscreen, bug spray
▪ Water bottle, snacks/lunch (no nuts please)
▪ Bathing suit and towel for Tuesdays and Thursdays, and every day for water-based camps
▪ Dress for the weather- rain or sunshine, campers will be outside!
▪ Wear appropriate footwear, runners are best so all campers can keep up!
▪ Please do not send toys from home unless otherwise advised.
Tuesday & Thursday Swim Days
All campers swim on Tuesday and Thursday, please remember to bring a bathing suit and towel.
Friday Field Trip*
All registered Playmaker and All-Star campers will be going on an off-site field trip each Friday using commercial busing. Locations include regional outdoor pools, adventure parks and movie theatres.

Mini Movers Ages 4

Mini Movers Camp is a fun-filled program designed for 4-5 year-olds to explore, create, and grow through a variety of exciting activities. A perfect blend of art, physical activity, science experiments, storytelling, and play, this camp is designed to stimulate curiosity, creativity, and teamwork! Each week we will explore a new theme that will be sure to excite campers! A daycamp consent form is required prior to the start of the camp. In week 9, there is only the full day full week option available.
The daily option is a half day camp from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Cost $23/day.

Playmakers / All-Stars
Art Antics
Young minds are allowed to develop their own unique styles and creativity. In this art-based program, campers will build art skills through the use of different mediums and materials, all while making new friends and having a ton of fun. This camp will host an art show on Thursday afternoon to showcase the masterpieces we’ve created during the week!

Specialty Camps
Active 4 Life Ages 12 - 14
Come join our leaders in a fun atmosphere where you can learn techniques for sport and lifelong leisure activities. This action filled camp will keep you moving and having fun while we try out multiple ways to stay active now and in the future. No camp on Fridays. This specialty camp runs from 1 - 4 p.m., Monday to Thursday only.
Badminton Camp Ages 8 - 12
Learn and practice the fundamental skills of badminton including the forehand, backhand, drop shot, smash and the serve. Players will also take part in a variety of sport conditioning exercises and drills focusing on improving your core strength, agility and power. Be prepared to work hard and leave it all on the court. Players are encouraged to provide their own racquet.
Bike Camp
Experience Okotoks on your bike. Each day campers will explore new paths and trails focusing on safety and fun! After biking each day, campers can look forward to games and other exciting activites alongside other campers. Participants are required to supply their own bike (with gears), closed toed footwear a helmet and any other safety gear you wish.

Dance Camp
Experience the joy of dance in this fun, summer option. From jazz to hip hop, lyrical to ballet this camp is perfect for anyone who wants to dance! Dancers will show off their moves to family and friends at the ORC on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
