PLAYTIME PALS

Age: 1 to 2 years

As your child continues to grow and change so quickly, come together with other families to learn, play and socialize through interaction with special themes, music, crafts and toys. Participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

STARRY PARADISE – GET READY FOR MANDARIN

Age: 4 to 6 years

PRESCHOOL PLAYHOUSE

Age: 1 1/2 to 3 years

Location: SARC

You and your little one will participate in an interactive circle time, story time and show off their creative side. Each class will consist of different programming and activities for you both to enjoy. Participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

SENSORY PLAY

Age: 4 to 6 years

Location: SARC

Join us for some hands-on learning. Your child will participate in activities where they will discover their senses, while getting a little messy. From digging for fossils to creating slime and goop, your little is sure to have a great time.

PRESCHOOL DROP-IN

Age: Newborn to 5 years • Location: SARC

Fee: $3.50 per child, supervising adults are free

Having fun with your preschooler just became a little bit easier! Come play with your child (newborn to 5 years) on a variety of gross motor equipment, learning stations and much more. Preschool equipment will be cleaned and sanitized regularly by Town staff.

Note: Caregivers must supervise children at all times.

DAY TIME

Saturday 9:15am – 10:45am 11:00am – 12:30pm

Learn Mandarin through interactive activities and engaging learning experiences. Children will learn everyday words such as numbers and simple conversations as they begin to recognize and understand Chinese culture. Please have pencil and paper ready before class. Parent/guardians must be nearby while children are participating in this program. Some parent/guardian participation may be required based on participant ability.

STARRY PARADISE – LITTLE CREATOR

Age: 4 to 6 years

Location: Aurora Town Square

Learn about colours and drawing skills, represented and used in artwork. Children will develop their motor skills and work with pencils, markers, oil pastels, water colour and acrylic painting. Children will learn about shapes, colour, theory, and positions on paper with space and drawing objects. All materials are included.

STORYTIME ADVENTURES

Age: 2 to 4 years

Location: SARC

Are you ready to go on an adventure? Join us each week as we explore a new story with imaginative play, music and movement. Participants will engage in gross motor activities and explore expression while developing social skills in a safe space.
