Welcome to Tower Hill Botanic Garden! Visitors are allowed to enter the Garden only with an online reservation attained before arrival for specific arrival date and time. Per the governor's rule for botanic gardens, masks or face coverings are required for all visitors and class participants over the age of 2 who are able throughout Tower Hill property. Please visit towerhillbg.org for information and to reserve your admission ticket. Program Registration We have moved to a solely online registration system for the health and safety of our staff and visitors. We will no longer accept class walk-ins or be able to process cash or check for class payments. All class registrations must be made online and in advance. Classes are organized to abide by the current state regulations for social distancing and group gathering size. Masks are required for all in person programs. For specific details on a class check the description online. Climate Talk: Conservation insights for N.E. alpine plants facing global environmental change KRISTEN HAYNES, PHD

Tower Hill continues to explore climate impacts through webinars with experts in the field. During this webinar dive into understanding the climate change vulnerability of species, and a research study applying this understanding to how rare alpine rattlesnake-root plants (Nabalus spp., Syn: Prenanthes spp.) endemic to mountains of the Northeast will respond to ongoing environmental change. We'll show you how to make the pom poms and how to connect them together to make your own special scarf. Multicolored or neutral colored your scarf will be a wearable work of art! Watercolor Wintergreens

Potpourri for a Joyful Spring

Potpourri, French for rotten pot, is a fragrant, often beautiful, mix of scented plant material with a long and fascinating history! We’ll discuss the history of potpourri and the importance of fragrance through the centuries, then learn the basics of creating a modern potpourri: how to dry herbs and flowers, use essential oils, and select fixatives. Urban Tree Symposium

Join us for our annual Urban Tree Symposium. This year the symposium will be entirely virtual. Experts in the fields of forestry, horticulture, biology, and, technology will present on in-depth topics related to urban forests and plants and how we can improve our green spaces. Garden & Horticulture Seasonal Pruning Workshop: Late Winter

Throughout the year it is important to prune different plants. This series of workshops will focus on the essentials of when and how to prune those plants. We will use selected shrubs and trees at Tower Hill to discuss and practice our pruning skills. Each workshop will cover making proper cuts, different forms of pruning and most importantly pruning plants at the correct time. This specific workshop focuses on late winter plants that need pruned. January 16–March 31, 2021 Come experience an explosion of color at Tower Hill. The global phenomenon known as yarnbombing is taking over our gardens. This collaborative community exhibit features trees, benches, statues, and more, decorated with knitted and crocheted pieces created by over forty local artists. This outdoor exhibit redefines walking in a winter wonderland.
