Sports and Recreation Outdoor Sports Fields • Tennis Courts - Open spring through fall, weather permitting and is free of charge. 49 Ave. & 48 St. • Skate Park - Open year round to skateboarders, BMXers, and rollerbladers, free of cost. Vegreville Family Clinic Hospital & family medicine practice. Walk in Clinic hours: Monday-Friday walk in clinics at 8:15 am and 1 pm. Doors open at 8:15 am. The bulk of patients come at the start of the clinics. They take names until they feel they have accepted as many as the doctor can see during that walk in time. However, at any time, people are welcome to call and see if they are busy or if they can take an extra person. No further names are taken 15 minutes prior to lunch and day end. People are welcome to sit and wait for the 1 pm walk in but no names are taken till just before 1 pm. Vegreville & District Family & Community Support Services (FCSS) We provide programs and services that help prevent crisis and take care of the social well-being of the community. the hard times and help find programs and services you need.
Meals on Wheels (MOW): A service that provides hot noon time meals to residents that are unable to cook for themselves due to disability or recent hospitalization. Subsidized Housekeeping: Assists eligible individuals with the application process and coordination of housekeeping services.
Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP): Connects eligible individuals with free help in completing their tax returns.
Youth Making A Change (YMAC): For grades 10-12 who are interested in partnering with others in the community and are passionate about making a difference. Sizzlin' Summer: A fun skill development day camp that is offered during the summer for children 6-12 years old.
Junior Leader Program: The Junior Leader program is designed for youth (ages 12-15) who have a passion for leadership & working with children. Babysitter's Course: Teaches the basics of safe babysitting to youth 11 years old and up.
After Hours Program: This is an after school program designed to introduce youth in Grades 7-9 to activities that will build their self-esteem and social competence as well as show them that adults in the community value them.
