Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP): Our office hosts a free Canada Revenue Agency tax clinic program where volunteers file tax returns for eligible people who haveamodestincomeandasimpletaxsituation.
Subsidized Housekeeping Program: We help eligible people with either the application for the GovernmentofAlbertaSpecialNeedsAssistance Program for Seniors or the Town of Vegreville FCSSSubsidizedHousekeepingProgram.
Meals On Wheels Program (MOW): Hot noontime meals are available for residents that are unable to cook for themselves due to illness, recent hospitalization, disability, and/or poor nutrition.Thecostpermealis$7.00.

This Society exists to improve the welfare of animals within Vegreville.They strive to save and improve animal lives by rescuing animals in need through volunteering, fostering, adoption, and education. They promote responsible pet ownership by encouraging spaying, neutering, vaccinating and regular veterinary check ups for your pets adopted through our rescue. Our Rescue is made up strictly of volunteers and there are not paid sta ffon site. They do not have regular hours at the shelter
