Information & Referral: We understand that finding information, accessing services, and navigating the system in rural Alberta can be difficult. To support residents, our office assembles various “help posters” to assist you with finding local agencies, toll-free numbers, online supports that you can call, text, or access online to get help you need. CommunityCounsellingProgram: Affordable, in-person,phone,andvideocounsellingservices are available. This program uses a sliding fee scale.

Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP): Our office hosts a free Canada Revenue Agency tax clinic program where volunteers file tax returns for eligible people who haveamodestincomeandasimpletaxsituation.

Subsidized Housekeeping Program: We help eligible people with either the application for the GovernmentofAlbertaSpecialNeedsAssistance Program for Seniors or the Town of Vegreville FCSSSubsidizedHousekeepingProgram.

Meals On Wheels Program (MOW): Hot noontime meals are available for residents that are unable to cook for themselves due to illness, recent hospitalization, disability, and/or poor nutrition.Thecostpermealis$7.00.

Sizzlin' Summer Day Camp: A fun child development program for children ages 6 – 12 yearsold.

Junior Leader Program: Program for youth aged 13 to 15 years who want to volunteer, develop their employability skills, and have the opportunitytoworkwithchildren.

Afterschool Programming: Programs provide connection, skill development, snacks and activities

This Society exists to improve the welfare of animals within Vegreville.They strive to save and improve animal lives by rescuing animals in need through volunteering, fostering, adoption, and education. They promote responsible pet ownership by encouraging spaying, neutering, vaccinating and regular veterinary check ups for your pets adopted through our rescue.
