A short forested walk under moss covered trees, past old lamps and over 9 bridges. While this is a relatively flat trail, many bridges have stairs which are not suited for mobility devices or baby strollers. DIRECTIONS: The trail starts behind the Harrison Hot Springs Resort (100 Esplanade Ave) at the south end of the parking lot. Please note that parking here requires a fee.
This trail follows the Miami River through residential Harrison Hot Springs and is great for wildlife viewing and birding. DIRECTIONS: Start at the Overflow Parking Lot at Hot Springs Road and Miami River Drive, with the trailhead directly across the parking lot entrance on Miami River Drive.

Take a stroll along this flat, fully accessible gravel and concrete path, suitable for strollers, wheelchairs, and mobility device s. Enjoy scenic views of the Village, Harrison Lake, and Qwólts Park, featuring its modern fish-friendly flood pump and Sts’ailes artwork of salmon, sturgeon and a 20’ Sasquatch. Leashed dogs are welcome. DIRECTIONS: Begin at Harrison Lake Plaza in the village center. Follow the path around the lagoon, then head west along the Esplanade Avenue promenade. Continue along the lakeshore past the Harrison Hot Springs Resort and follow the gravel road to the building that houses the hot springs source.

4 Bridle Trail & Spirit Trail 5.5 km | 1.5 hrs | 82m Elevation Gain | Loop | Easy This 316-acre nature park is home to a wide variety of birds, mammals, insects, and plants—including several endangered species. Stroll through wetlands and old-growth cedar forests along peaceful trails, perfect for a relaxing walk or a day of bird watching. The popular Spirit Trail Loop showcases unique clay masks and interpretive signs, while a scenic boardwalk connects it to the longer Bridle Trail. DIRECTIONS: 957 McCombs Dr, Harrison Hot Springs

5 Sandy Cove & Whippoorwill Point 3.7 km | 1.5 hrs | 152m Elevation Gain | Loop | Moderate This narrow, steep trail includes sections that require scrambling over rocky and rooted terrain. Enjoy numerous scenic lookouts as this trail follows the lake’s edge. Sandy Cove features a secluded beach and excellent swimming, while continuing along the shoreline to Whippoorwill Point provides stunning views of where the Harrison River meets Harrison Lake. DIRECTIONS: From Harrison Hot Springs Resort (100 Esplanade Ave), head west along the waterfront gravel path to the hot spring source. The trailhead begins just beyond on the left.
6 Harrison Grind (Campbell Lake) The trailhead is located through a small opening in the chain-link fence. As the gravel road veers to the right, follow the road to the water reservoir. From here an old logging road great lookout point. Continue the hike, ending at Campbell Lake. This is a slightly technical open mossy boulder area with cave dens to explore. Sturgeon Trail 1.5 km | 1 hr | 110m Elevation Gain | Out & Back | Easy A short but rewarding uphill hike through Sq'ewlets First Nation land, leading to a scenic viewpoint with sweeping views of Harrison Bay, the Harrison River, and the Coast Mountains beyond. Interpretive signs line the route and a picnic table and benches at the top make it a lovely spot to linger. DIRECTIONS: The trailhead sits just off Highway 7 (Lougheed Highway) near Lake Errock, east of Mission. Due to double solid lines, you cannot turn directly at the trail — instead, continue to the Harrison Bay Resort RV Park, pull off, then double back 400m and turn right onto the gravel area; do not park near the cemetery gates.

The word Sasquatch is thought to be a mispronunciation of the Sts’ailes First Nations word ‘Sasq’ets’, meaning ‘hairy man’. For centuries, the Sasquatch has occupied a unique niche in the oral traditions of the First Nations communities of the Harrison River Valley. The Sts’ailes believe the Sasquatch is a spiritual being that can vanish into the spirit realm at will, which may explain
