16. George Little House and Via Rail Station: The building that was once home to our city’s founder; George Little. It is also the VIA Rail station and welcomes train passengers.

Terrace is the perfect home base for your camping adventures with dozens of beautiful campgrounds to choose from. From Ferry Island, to Lakelse Lake, the Nisga’a Memorial Lava Bed Provincial Park or Kleanza Creek.

12. Kasiks Campground: Owned by the Kitsumkalum First Nation, stay overnight in a lodge room, or camp. A great restaurant and coffee shop as well.

13. Redsand Lake & Hart Farm Recreation Site: This amazing area on West Kalum offers beaches, canoeing, walking trails, biking trails & campsites.

14. Exstew Falls: Take a short hike to discover a stunning waterfall with camping available along the banks of the river.

8. Lakelse Lake/Furlong Bay: Walking trails, sandy beaches, a boat launch, picnic sites, tent and RV campsites, and more. A great visitor centre complete with an ice-cream stand, paddle board and kayak rentals.

9. Kleanza Creek Provincial Park

15. Exchamsiks River Provincial Park: In this magnificent park you’ll find two day use areas. There is also a boat launch, as well as, a short interpretive trail through old growth forest.

26. Skeena Valley Farmers Market: The largest in Northern BC, the Skeena Valley Farmers Market is home to 70+ local vendors selling a diverse blend of home-crafted and home-grown goods. Check it out every Saturday (9am – 1pm) from May to October on Market St. next to George Little Park.

Terrace has a diverse range of biking trails to challenge riders of all abilities. With two mountain bike networks in the city, an in-town pump track and a growing offering of family-friendly rides, Terrace is a biking hub. Check out our stellar mountain bike trails in surrounding areas. Make sure to check out the Terrace Off Road Cycling Associationthis non-profit organization helps build and maintain area trails. Be a good steward of the land - purchase a TORCA membership and do your part to support trail development and maintenance.
