Motu Haapiti was the property of famous French polar explorer, writer, scientist, and ethnologist Paul-Emile Victor. Motu Haapiti’s seclusion makes it a haven for anyone searching privacy, and simply the most idyllic place for a special celebration, may it be a honeymoon, a family event, or even a gathering of friends. The lush vegetation on this coral islet is enchanting, the blue of the lagoon surrounding it inviting, and the quietness relaxing. The experience starts from the moment you are picked up at the ponton of your resort on a 25-ft Cap Camarat as you are traveling on one of the world’s most beautiful lagoons on your private boat. An introduction to the underwater world of Bora Bora through snorkeling is the way to begin the experience. Sunset Cruise & Torchlit Dinner - Private You could not envision a more romantic evening than this intimate dinner on a private motu under the stars South Pacific celestial vault. It is on board a 31-ft trimaran of very high standing that the evening starts : wooden floor, spacious deck, very comfortable banquettes… Once embarked, the ship sets sails to the west side of the lagoon, between the reef and the emblematic mountain of Bora Bora, where the sun sets in the horizon. Sharing a flute of champagne, enjoy the warmth of the last rays of the sun. Those who wish can also enjoy a sunset swim. Upon arrival by boat on a white fine sand beach motu, a path of torches guides you to the table dressed in white and adorned with porcelain dishes and shiny glasses…Under the stars, the private service starts with a soft musical ambiance provided by Polynesian musician duo. The dinner, designed by a chef, features of dishes and tastes of a very refined gastronomy : Cream of uru (breadfruit), lobster or beef rib with sides, and a Napoleon pastry of tropical fruits for dessert.
