Totum Info Pack

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Thank you for booking onto our summer ‘Base Camp’ At our next TOTUM Rugby Camp, we're taking inspiration from the world's highest peak Everest

Why Everest?

Because just like climbing the mountain, pursuing greatness in sport and life demands preparation, resilience, and courage

We’re building our sessions around the challenges faced at high altitude and the lessons they teach us about performance and wellbeing:

Breathwork – When oxygen is scarce, every breath matters. We'll explore how breathing can regulate performance under pressure.

Performing under pressure – Like a dark, cold night on the mountain, pushing through adversity is where character is revealed.

Physical wellbeing – You wouldn’t attempt Everest without training. Likewise, we’ll focus on being ready for the journey strong, mobile, and mentally prepared.

Purpose – No one climbs Everest by accident. We’ll help players explore what drives them, what keeps them going when the path gets steep, and how to connect their sport to something bigger

Doing great things is tough – And that’s the point. The best journeys are the hardest, and they bring out the best in us

This camp isn’t just about rugby It’s a chance to reconnect, recharge, and rediscover what you're capable of. To climb your own mountain with support, challenge, and purpose. And where better to start than Base Camp...

Within this pack you will find everything you need to prepare for base camp.
