INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS PROCEDURES
Your privacy and data protection rights are important to Total Produce. As described in the Privacy Policy, there are a number of rights which you may exercise under applicable data protection law. This document explains how to exercise these rights. Capitalised terms in this document are defined in the Privacy Policy. 1.
What are Your Rights? The rights which you may exercise under applicable data protection law are:
Inspection and access: you can request from us a summary and/or a copy of your Personal Data which we Process or which is Processed on our behalf. You may also request details about the way in which we Process your Personal Data; Correction/addition/removal: where you believe your Personal Data is inaccurate or incomplete, you are entitled to request us to correct, amend or delete your Personal Data; Objection: you may object to us Processing your Personal Data based on our legitimate interests (see section 3 of the Privacy Policy) or you may object to us sending you direct marketing materials. You may also object to us Profiling you or any Processing we conduct in respect of your Personal Data for scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes; Restriction: you may request that we restrict the Processing of your Personal Data where the accuracy of your Personal Data is contested, our Processing is unlawful, you believe we no longer need the Personal Data or you have objected to Processing; and Objection to Automated Decision Making: you may object to us making a decision in relation to you solely using automated decision-making (including Profiling), if the decision produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you, together, “Your Rights�. Exercising Your Rights You may exercise the rights detailed above through the following means: Any request to exercise Your Rights should be sent to the contact details in Schedule 1. To help us to respond to your request, please be as specific as possible. For example, if you wish to exercise your right to access your Personal Data, please specify the Personal Data of which you wish to obtain a copy. Please include any additional details that would help us to respond to your request - for example, a staff reference number, names of departments/offices that you were associated with, etc. If you wish a third party to submit a request to exercise Your Rights on your behalf (e.g. a family member or solicitor), you must provide written authorisation to allow us to disclose your Personal Data to that third party.
