Come Play!

Autrey Park Pickleball Courts

Come play at Superior’s six pickleball courts at Autry Park. If you are a beginner and would like to try out the sport but don’t have a paddle, come and check one out from the Superior Community Center. (Quantities are limited to first-come, first-served).

Courts are open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week, and operate on an Open Play system.

Please visit superiorrec.com for drop-in “Open Play" hours.

OPEN PLAY “Paddle Holder” SYSTEM

When all courts are full and other players are waiting:

All games will be played to 11, win by 1.

Waiting players place a paddle for each player on the paddle rack.

When a game finishes, players announce “Open Court”. The court is then vacated for the waiting players with paddles on the rack.

When players move to the court to begin play, they have a 5-minute warmup period and then begin play to 11, and win by 1.

Waiting players advance their paddles forward on the paddle holder and will play on the next available court.

The process repeats as long as others are waiting to play.
