LIKA CAMEO doesn’t call herself an artist, despite the acclaim her work inspires from others. Until recent years, even while her obsession with drawing led to a brief period of studying art, she considered her passion a hobby.
Yet, happily for us, her instinct to express herself and her emotions through visual art was undeniable. In the past two years, she has had numerous exhibits in Second Life, each one a story, an opportunity to grow.

Lika’s work doesn’t intend to make things change, solve problems or answer questions. Her focus is on conveying feelings, depicting human emotions, making us see them through her eyes. She centers her work in body motion shots and portraits, using her signature lights, shadows, and monochrome tones. She constantly experiments and challenges herself with different techniques, transforming mixed media, sketches, or inworld images into edited digital paintings.
Her workpieces are part of her story. She revisits them to play, lose track of time; immerses herself completely, until it’s time to share them with us.
Lika generously created three of these pieces, Confined, Breathless, and Possessive, especially for Attention SL. Silence, The Shape of Water, and By My Side are from her existing collection.
