ՊՕՂՈՍ ԱՌԱՔԵԱԼԻ ԿՈՂՄԷ ՏԻՄՈԹԷՈՍԻՆ ՈՒՂՂԱԾ ԵՐԿՐՈՐԴ ՆԱՄԱԿԷՆ 2.15-19 Ջանա՛ դուն քեզ գնահատելի ցոյց տալ Աստուծոյ առջեւ, ըլլալով այնպիսի գործաւոր մը՝ որ պիտի չամչնայ, շիտակ բացատրելով ճշմարտութեան խօսքը: Բայց հեռո՛ւ կեցիր սրբապիղծ ունայնաբանութիւններէն, քանի որ անոնք աւելի պիտի յառաջդիմեն ամբարշտութեան մէջ, եւ անոնց խօսքը պիտի ճարակէ քաղցկեղի պէս: Ասոնցմէ՛ են Հիմենոս եւ Փիղետոս, որոնք վրիպած են ճշմարտութենէն՝ ըսելով թէ մեռելներուն յարութիւնը արդէն եղած է, եւ կը կործանեն ոմանց հաւատքը: Սակայն Աստուծոյ հիմը ամուր կը կենայ եւ ունի սա՛ կնիքը. “Տէրը կը ճանչնայ անոնք որ իրն են”, նաեւ. “Ո՛վ որ կ՛արտասանէ Քրիստոսի անունը՝ թող հեռանայ անիրաւութենէ”:

ՅՈՎՀԱՆՆԷՍԻ ԱՒԵՏԱՐԱՆԷՆ 6.39-47 Եւ զիս ղրկող Հօրը կամքը սա՛ է, որ ո՛չ մէկը կորսնցնեմ բոլոր անոնցմէ՝ որ ինք տուաւ ինծի, հապա յարուցանեմ զանոնք՝ վերջին օրը: Որովհետեւ զիս ղրկողին կամքը սա՛ է, որ ո՛վ որ տեսնէ Որդին ու հաւատայ իրեն՝ ունենայ յաւիտենական կեանքը. ե՛ս ալ պիտի յարուցանեմ զայն՝ վերջին օրը»: Ուստի Հրեաները կը տրտնջէին իրեն դէմ, որովհետեւ ըսաւ. «Ե՛ս եմ երկինքէն իջած հացը», եւ կ՚ըսէին. «Ասիկա Յովսէփի որդին՝ Յիսուսը չէ՞, որուն հայրն ու մայրը կը ճանչնանք. հապա ի՞նչպէս ասիկա կ՚ըսէ. “Ես իջայ երկինքէն”»: Յիսուս ալ պատասխանեց անոնց. «Մի՛ տրտնջէք ձեր մէջ: Ո՛չ մէկը կրնայ գալ ինծի՝ եթէ զիս ղրկող Հայրը չքաշէ զայն. ու ես պիտի յարուցանեմ զայն՝ վերջին օրը: Մարգարէներուն մէջ գրուած է. “Բոլորն ալ սորված պիտի ըլլան Աստուծմէ”: Ո՛վ որ կը լսէ Հօրմէն ու կը սորվի՝ ինծի՛ կու գայ: 3

Ո՛չ մէկը տեսած է Հայրը, բացի անկէ՝ որ Աստուծմէ է. անիկա՛ տեսած է Հայրը: Ճշմա՛րտապէս, ճշմա՛րտապէս կը յայտարարեմ ձեզի. “Ա՛ն որ կը հաւատայ ինծի՝ ունի՛ յաւիտենական կեանքը”:

1 TMOTHY 2.15-19 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. Their teaching will spread like gangrene.

Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, who have departed from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some. Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”

JOHN 6.39-47 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

At this the Jews there began to grumble about him because he said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.” They said, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, ‘I came down from heaven’?”

“Stop grumbling among yourselves,” Jesus answered. “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me. No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father. Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.

ՇԱԲԹՈՒԱՆ ՏՕՆԵՐԸ - FEASTS OF THE WEEK ՍՈՒՐԲ ԳՐԻԳՈՐ ԱՍՏՈՒԱԾԱԲԱՆ ՆԱԶԻԱՆԶԱՑԻ Տիեզերական վարդապետ Ս. Գրիգոր Աստուածաբան իր ծննդավայրի անունով կը կոչուի նաեւ Գրիգոր Նազիանզացի: Ան ծնած է 328 թ Կապադովկիոյ Նազիանզ գիւղաքաղաքին մօտ գտնուող Արիանզ գիւղը: Ս. Գրիգոր Աստուածաբանը որդին էր Գրիգոր եպիսկոպոսի: Խիստ ուսումնասէր էր եւ ստացած է փիլիսոփայական եւ հռետորական կրթութիւն: Ուսանած է Կեսարիա, այնուհետեւ Աթէնք ուր կը ծանօթանայ քրիստոնէութեան խոշոր դէմքերէն Ս. Բարսեղ Կեսարացիի հետ: Յետագային անոնք կը դառնան անբաժան ընկերներ: 30 տարեկան հասակին կը մկրտուի եւ կ'ուխտէ ճգնելով ապրիլ: Որոշ ժամանակ կ'ապրի ճգնաւորական կեանքով եւ 361 թ. Վերադառնալով Նազիանզ, իր հօր կողմէ կը ձեռնադրուի քահանայ: 372թ. ձեռամբ Ս. Բարսեղ Կեսարացիի կը ձեռնադրուի որպէս Սասիմոյ եպիսկոպոս: 381 թ. Ս. Գրիգոր կը մասնակցի եւ կը նախագահէ Կ. Պոլսոյ Երկրորդ Տիեզերական ժողովին: Ս. Գրիգոր Աստուածաբանը Ս. Բարսեղ Կեսարացիին հետ համատեղ պայքարած են արիոսականներու դէմ: Ան վախճանած է 389 թ., Յունուար 25-ին: Ս. Գրիգոր Աստուածաբան թողած է հարուստ գրաւոր ժառանգութիւն եւ իր ճառերն ու նամակները մեծապէս նպաստած են քրիստոնէական ուղղափառ հաւատքի պահպանման գործին: Հայ եկեղեցին Ս. Գրիգոր Նազիանզացիի յիշատակը կը տօնէ տարին 2 անգամ՝ Սբ. Ծննդեան 3-րդ Կիրակիին նախորդող Շաբաթ օրը եւ Հոկտեմբերի վերջին շաբաթ օրը՝ «Երկոտասան(12) Վարդապետաց» հետ։ 5

COMMEMORATION OF ST. GREGORY THE THEOLOGIAN Saint Gregory the Theologian, Archbishop of Constantinople, is one of the 12 Holy Fathers of Universal Church. He was born into a Christian family in 328 , it Arianzos, not far from the city of Nazianzus, Cappadocia. His father, also named Gregory was Bishop of Nazianzus.

St. Gregory studied in Caesaria, then in Athens and received extensive philosophical and rhetoric education. In Athens Gregory became acquainted with St. Basil of Caesarea - one of the prominent figures of Christianity. After leading ascetic life for a while, Gregory returned to Naziangue, where he was baptized and ordained as a priest by his father.

Later, Saint Basil the Great made Saint Gregory the Bishop of the city of Sasima, a small town between Caesarea and Tyana.

Together with St. Basil of Caesarea St. Gregory the Theologian struggled against the Arians. He participated ad presided in the 2nd Ecumenical Council of Constantinople. St. Gregory passed away on January 25, 389 AD. St. Gregory the Theologian has left rich literary heritage, which was translated into Armenian in the 5-8th centuries. Most probability St. Moses of Khoronk translated some of his work into Armenian. St. Gregory the Theologian is one of the most prominent figures of Christianity and his works he has greatly influenced the formulation of the Orthodox Christian ideology. ԳԻՏԷ՞ԻՐ ԹԷ... Ս. Գրիգոր Նազիանզիացիին տրուած է նաեւ Աստուածաբան տիտղոսը: ընդհանրական եկեղեցւոյ մէջ միայն 3 սուրբեր արժանացած են «Աստուածաբան» կոչուելու՝ Ս. Յովհաննէս Աւետարանիչը, Ս. Գրիգոր Նազիանզացին եւ Ս. Սիմիոն Նոր Աստուածաբանը: 11-րդ դարէն ի վեր ոչ մի նոր սուրբ չէ արժանացած այդ տիտղոսին: DID YOU KNOW?...

St. Gregory of Nazianzus is honored with the title “Theologian,” also given to the holy Apostle and Evangelist John and St Simeon the New Theologian. No other saint has earned this title since the eleventh century.
