Ո՛չ խորտակուած եւ ո՛չ մահացած, Այլ արքայութեանը` արդարների համար պահուած լոյսին արժանի համարուած: Եւ դու հաստատուն ուխտի խոստումով "Ամէն"-ի երդմամբ, Յայտնելով տրուած բարիքների անփոփոխութիւնը, Փառաւորեցիր նրան եւ փրկութեան յոյս ներշնչեցիր ինձ` իսպառ լքուածիս: Բ Օրհնեա՜լ, օրհնեա՜լ եւ դարձեալ օրհնեալ, Ընդունելով եւ ինձ նոյն հաւատքով` Փրկի՛ր կործանումից եւ բարձրացրո՛ւ, ո՜վ բարերար. Բժշկիր հիւանդութիւնների ախտերից, ողորմա՜ծ. Մահուան եզերքից ինձ կեանքին դարձրու, ո՜վ կենդանութիւն. Քոնն եմ նաեւ ես, ուստի նրա հետ ապրեցրո՛ւ եւ ինձ ապաւինութի՜ւն. Կենդանութեան շունչ ընծայիր դու ինձ` հոգով մեռածիս, Յարութի՜ւն, դու կեանք եւ անմահութիւն, Անպակաս բարութիւն, անսպառ շնորհ, անփոփոխ ներողութիւն, Աջ ամենազօր, ձեռք ամէնիշխան, մատ ամենամերձ: Կամեցիր դու, Տէր, եւ պիտի փրկուեմ. Ակնարկիր միայն գթութեամբ, եւ պիտի արդարանամ. Ասա՛ դու խօսքով, եւ իսկոյն պիտի դառնամ անարատ: Մոռացի՛ր թիւը իմ չարիքների` Եւ անմիջապէս համարձակութիւն պիտի առնեմ ես. Առատաձեռնի՛ր, եւ շուտով պիտի պատուաստուեմ քո մէջ, Փառաւորեալդ ամէն ինչի մէջ յաւիտեանս. ամէն: 3

ԱՂՕԹՔ Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա: Յիսո՛ւս Փրկիչ, պահէ՛ մեզ պատրաստ եւ արթուն, որպէսզի չըլլայ թէ մեղքը մեր վրայ յարձակելով ապականէ մեր հոգիները, որուն համար Դուն մեռար: Յիսո՛ւս Քրիստոս, պահէ՛ մեզ պատրաստ եւ արթուն, որպէսզի երբ Դուն խօսիս, կարենանք ըսել, «Խօսէ՛, Տէ՛ր, քանզի Քու ծառադ մտիկ կ’ընէ»: Յիսո՛ւս Թագաւոր Փառաց, պահէ՛ մեզ պատրաստ եւ արթուն, ծառայելու Քու թագաւորութեանդ եւ քաջ զինուորի մը նման մեր կեանքերը ի սպաս դնելու, Ամէն: ՊՕՂՈՍ ԱՌԱՔԵԱԼԻ ՀՌՈՄԷԱՑԻՆԵՐՈՒՆ ԳՐԱԾ ՆԱՄԱԿԷՆ 8: 12- 17, 28-39 Ուրեմն, եղբայրնե՛ր, պարտական ենք, բայց ո՛չ մարմինին՝ մարմինին համաձայն ապրելու համար: Որովհետեւ եթէ մարմինին համաձայն ապրիք՝ պիտի մեռնիք, իսկ եթէ Հոգիով մարմինին գործերը մեռցնէք՝ պիտի ապրիք: Արդարեւ բոլոր անոնք որ կ՚առաջնորդուին Աստուծոյ Հոգիով, անո՛նք են Աստուծոյ որդիները. քանի որ դուք չստացաք ստրկութեան հոգին՝ դարձեալ վախնալու համար, հապա ստացաք որդեգրութեա՛ն Հոգին, որուն միջոցով կը գոչենք՝՝. «Աբբա՛, Հա՛յր»: Նոյնինքն Հոգին վկայութիւն կու տայ մեր հոգիին հետ թէ մենք Աստուծոյ զաւակներն ենք. ու եթէ զաւակներ՝ ուրեմն ժառանգորդներ, Աստուծոյ ժառանգորդներ եւ Քրիստոսի ժառանգակիցներ, որպէսզի եթէ չարչարուինք իրեն հետ, նաեւ փառաւորուինք իրեն հետ: Նաեւ գիտենք թէ բոլոր բաները բարիին գործակից կ՚ըլլան անո՛նց՝ որ կը սիրեն Աստուած, անո՛նց՝ որ կանչուած են իր առաջադրութեան համաձայն: Որովհետեւ անո՛նք՝ որ 4

նախապէս ճանչցաւ, նաեւ նախասահմանեց՝ կերպարանակից ըլլալու իր Որդիին պատկերին, որպէսզի ան ըլլայ անդրանի՛կը բազմաթիւ եղբայրներու մէջ: Եւ անոնք որ նախասահմանեց՝ նաեւ կանչեց, անոնք որ կանչեց՝ նաեւ արդարացուց, եւ անոնք որ արդարացուց՝ նաեւ փառաւորեց:

Ուրեմն ի՞նչ ըսենք այս բաներուն մասին. եթէ Աստուած մեր կողմն է, ո՞վ հակառակ է մեզի: Ա՛ն՝ որ չխնայեց իր իսկ Որդիին, հապա մատնեց զայն մեր բոլորին համար, ի՞նչպէս անոր հետ նաեւ պիտի չպարգեւէ մեզի բոլոր բաները: Ո՞վ պիտի մեղադրէ Աստուծոյ ընտրածները. Աստուա՛ծ է արդարացնողը: Ուրեմն ո՞վ է դատապարտողը. Քրիստոս՝ որ մեռաւ, մա՛նաւանդ յարութիւն առաւ եւ Աստուծոյ աջ կողմն է, ա՛ն կը բարեխօսէ մեզի համար: Ուրեմն ո՞վ պիտի զատէ մեզ Քրիստոսի սէրէն. տառապա՞նքը, կամ տագնա՞պը, կամ հալածա՞նքը, կամ սո՞վը, կամ մերկութի՞ւնը, կամ վտա՞նգը, կամ սո՞ւրը: (Ինչպէս գրուած է. «Քեզի՛ համար ամբողջ օրը կը մեռցուինք. սպանդանոցի ոչխարի պէս կը սեպուինք»:) Նոյնիսկ այս բոլոր բաներուն մէջ աւելի քան յաղթող կ՚ըլլանք անո՛վ՝ որ սիրեց մեզ: Որովհետեւ ես համոզուած եմ թէ ո՛չ մահը, ո՛չ կեանքը, ո՛չ հրեշտակները, ո՛չ իշխանութիւնները, ո՛չ զօրութիւնները, ո՛չ ներկայ բաները, ո՛չ գալիք բաները, ո՛չ բարձրութիւնը, ո՛չ խորունկութիւնը, ո՛չ ալ ոեւէ ուրիշ արարած պիտի կարենայ զատել մեզ Աստուծոյ սէրէն, որ Քրիստոս Յիսուսով՝ մեր Տէրոջմով է: ԲԺՇԿՈՒԹԵԱՆ ԱՂՕԹՔ Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա: Փարատէ՛ ցաւերը եւ բժշկէ՛ հիւանդութիւնները քու ժողովուրդէդ, Տէր Աստուած մեր եւ բոլորին կատարեալ առողջութի՛ւն շնորհէ` Քու ամենայաղթ խաչիդ նշանով, 5

որուն միջոցով մարդկութեան տկարութիւնը վերցուցիր եւ դատապարտեցիր մեր կեանքի եւ փրկութեան թշնամին: Դուն ես մեր կեանքն ու փրկութիւնը, բարերար եւ բազումողորմ Աստուած. միայն Դո՛ւ կրնաս ներել մեր մեղքերը եւ մեզմէ հեռացնել ախտերն ու հիւանդութիւնները. Քեզի յայտնի են մեր կարիքները: Բարիքներ պարգեւող, առատ ողորմութիւնդ պարգեւէ՛ քու արարածներուդ՝ իւրաքանչիւրին ըստ իր պէտքին, որովհետեւ արարածներուդ միջոցով միշտ կը գովաբանուի Ամենասուրբ Երրորդութիւնդ. Այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. ամէն: ՔԱՐՈԶ Սուրբ Խաչով Տիրոջը աղաչենք, որպէսզի սրանով փրկէ մեզ մեղքերէն եւ Իր ողորմութեան շնորհով պահէ մեզ: Ամենակալ Տէր Աստուած մեր, ապրեցու՛ր եւ ողորմէ՛: ՊԱՀՊԱՆՈՒԹԵԱՆ ԱՂՕԹՔ Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա, Տէր ողորմեա: Պահպանիչ եւ հաւատացեալներու յոյս, Քրիստոս Աստուած մեր, պահէ պահպանէ եւ օրհնէ Հայոց ազգը եւ Հայաստանեայց Եկեղեցին. Քու Սուրբ եւ պատուական Խաչիդ հովանիին ներքեւ, խաղաղութեան մէջ. փրկէ եւ ազատէ երեւելի եւ աներեւոյթ թշնամիներէն, արժանաւորէ գոհութեամբ փառաւորենք Քեզ ընդ Հօր եւ Սուրբ Հոգւոյն. այժմ եւ ﬕշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից. ամէն: 6

Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

With the man who was crucified with you, who was not captured for your sake and was not bound, was not hanged and was not nailed, was not beaten in your great name and was not disgraced, was not tortured and was not treated with contempt, 8

was not crushed and was not killed, I beg to be worthy of the Kingdom and the most desired light that is the reward of the just.

May you, by the authority of saying the oath, “Amen,� affirm that your gifts are unchanging and are glorified for giving the hope of salvation to those of us that consider ourselves totally abandoned.

B Blessed, blessed, and blessed again!

Having accepted me by that same faith, raise me up from my fallen state, doer of good, cure me of disease, merciful, return me from the edge of death to life, lifegiver, for I am yours, same as man’s faith, my refuge.

Grant the breath of life to the body of the dead, O resurrection, life, immortality, and inexhaustible joy, boundless grace, unwavering forgiveness, omnipotent right hand, all-governing hand, all-reaching finger, you have only to wish it, Lord, and I shall be saved, only to think it, and by your mercy shall I be justified.

Say the word, and I will be found spotless.

Forget my wrongs, and I shall venture to emerge.

Cultivate me and I shall cleave to you, you who are glorified in all things forever.

Jesus our Savior , please keep us alert and ready, so sin will not strike and try to blemish our souls for which You have given Your life.

Jesus Christ, keep us alert and ready, so when You speak to us we may say, ” Speak ,our Lord, for Your servant is listening.”

Jesus the King of Glory, keeps us alert and ready to serve Your Kingdom with our lives, as brave soldiers. Amen.

ROMANS: 8: 12- 17, 28-39 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is 10

the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, k neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

PRAYER FOR THE SICK Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy Dispel the pain and heal the sickness of thy people, Lord our God and grant to all perfect health by the sign of thine all-conquering cross through which thou removed the weakness of mankind and condemned the enemy of our life and salvation. Thou art our life and salvation, beneficent and all merciful God, who alone can forgive us our sins and remove diseases and sickness from us, to whom are known our needs and necessities. Bestower of gifts, grant thy bounteous mercy to thy creatures according to their individual needs, through whom thy Holy Trinity is always glorified and praised, now and always and forever and ever. Amen.

LITANY By the Holy Cross let us beseech the Lord, that through it he may deliver us from our sins and save us by the grace of his mercy.

Deliver from enemies visible and invisible.
