Opening doors to pupils whose parents could not afford or would not ordinarily contemplate an independent education.

The School’s generosity in allowing me to have a bursary enabled me to continue at Tormead during a period of financial insecurity and meant I could concentrate on my studies in advance of A Levels.

Years 1905-2025 The ARC programme aims to establish a culture of giving within Tormead School. Pursuing philanthropic events and engagements within the Tormead community in order to support hardship and provide prospective and current pupils with the benefit of a fully immersive, independent Tormead education.

Our Goal by 2025 Upon reaching our 120th anniversary in 2025, we would like to have supported our first pupil into full-time, independent education through the ARC programme.

ARC Ambassadors play a crucial role in promoting the ARC 1905 programme and spreading the word at events as well as beyond the school community.

ARC membership is charged at £50 per annum. This annual charge provides members with discounted rates at ARC and certain other school ticketed events.

Donors to the ARC programme are able to make weekly, monthly, termly or annual donations.

Equally, if you would like to make a one-off donation, it would be gratefully received.
