Our rising prekindergarten and kindergarten students will join their future teacher for some fun classroom games and activities.

10:15 AM STEAM in Motion with Mrs. Marilyn Kido Enjoy moving around the gym by using your imagination, counting pattern recognitions, critical thinking, and strategy skills.

11:15 AM *STEAMagination Station Visit our STEAMaginations stations in our Commons. Some activites include Marshmallow Constellations, Bee Bots, Cardboard creations, Paper Gliders, and more. *parent/guardians must be present during this activity time.

10:15 AM Un Elefante se Balanceaba con Señora Bonilla Un Elefante se Balanceaba is a fun Spanish song. Señora Bonilla will teach student this song as well as an activity with little elephants.

Experiment with these properties to create beautiful watercolorart.

RISING STUDENTS IN

4th,5th,6th Grade 9:15 AM Chihuly Inspired Polystyrene Sculpture with Mrs. Sally Riggs Create stunning sculptures inspired by the works of Dale Chihuly. Students will engage in scientific inquiry, physical science and geometry, and active explorations of cause and effect, change of state, and mathematical reasoning.

10:15 AM Thermodynamic Workshop with Mr. Kevin Simons Explore thermodynamics with Mr. Simons as he teaches students about thermal energy and molecular movement.

You will also freeze things to pieces with liquid nitrogen.

11:15 AM Build a Duck Scooter with Ms. Mary Kate Baldwin Calling all young inventors! Using wood, rubber bands, motors, and your imagination. Ms. Baldwin will guide your in an activity that creates a unique vehicle for a toy duck.
