While working in another field, Clayton Diebert discovered the power of investing in real estate. “I started reading books about investing,” he explains. “Then after I bought my first house I continued analyzing properties, running numbers, and finding homes with good cash flow for my friends.” Eventually, Clayton realized he might want to pursue this as a career, so he earned his real estate license. Clayton created a thriving business in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia, and now he’s bringing his skills to another area: Mexico. With much of his business based on referrals, those who work with Clayton appreciate his vast knowledge and support.

“I keep in contact with lots of people,” he says. “If I’m driving home from somewhere, I can stop at three different people’s houses on the way home just to pop by and say hello.” Clayton forms strong connections with his clients, eliminating stress throughout the buying and selling process by keeping them informed. “I focus on educating them, giving them the power to make the best decisions for their individual needs.” His expertise in real estate investing means buyers and sellers gain unique insight, which helps them maneuver through their journey with confidence.
When it comes to marketing his properties, Clayton utilizes technology to spread the word. “I always film videos where I discuss key features of properties,” he says. “If it’s a condo, for instance, I’ll list off things that make it different from any other condo in the area.” He also creates Matterport virtual tours, giving potential buyers a realistic preview of the house before they tour it. “This has helped drastically cut down on non-serious buyers,” he says. “The people who are viewing properties after looking at the Matterport tour are ones who are truly interested in it. This eliminates stress for the seller because we’re not having to show their home to as many people.”
After working together, clients leave reviews about their time together. One recently said, “As a first time home buyer I'd strongly recommend Clayton as an agent! He is a great person to deal with. Always charismatic, does an amazing job communicating and explaining everything. He always sent us new listings soon as they came up and gave honest opinions on them. At every viewing he went through the house and showed us anything that may be an issue or concern. We now own our first house and couldn't have been happier with the whole process, all thanks to Clayton!”
When Clayton has free time, he loves to give back to his community. He’s participated in various fundraisers and events, but also enjoys supporting small businesses and being a resource for others. During his off hours, he can be found staying active at the gym or playing sports.
As Clayton looks ahead, he sees himself establishing a solid foundation in Mexico and helping other agents find success. He credits his growth to his caring and empathetic nature. “I am genuinely just trying to help and educate others, and people gravitate towards that.”
