CHRISTENA O'SHEA
A dedicated public servant and longtime resident of Placer County, Christena O’Shea has always been passionate about helping others. After beginning her career in the United States Army, she would earn her law degree and set forth as a police officer in the Sacramento metropolitan area, where she cultivated the communication skills needed to excel as a REALTOR®. She would first take an interest in real estate upon accepting an administrative position with a local company specializing in off-market properties. Noting her penchant for the business, she was inspired to pursue her license and launch her career as an agent in 2020. The rest is history.
Today, Christena is a REALTOR® with Legacy Properties where she assists clients throughout Placer County and the surrounding areas of the Sacramento Valley. Combining her outgoing personality with her deep roots in the region, she has cultivated a distinct process to meet the needs of any buyer or seller.
When listing a property, Christena equips her clients with a comprehensive strategy. After helping fully prepare their home for the market, she shares it not only to a highly targeted blend of digital and social media campaigns, but also to her extensive network of first responders in the area. Along the way, she is there for her sellers, ensuring a seamless transaction throughout.
Elsewhere, Christena is just as attentive when assisting her buyers, carefully guiding them to the right investment for their best interests. In fact, she prefers to keep in touch long after the deals are done through regular checkins; her popular newsletter and regional website, Placer
Is The Place; and even the occasional gift. More than anything, though, she loves welcoming newcomers to Placer County, from its cozy bedroom communities to its rich history dating back to the gold rush.
Christena has earned a terrific reputation in the industry, with the vast majority of her volume coming from repeat clients and referrals. Having exceeded $7.5 million in volume in 2022 alone, she returns to the core values that set her apart. “I always ask my clients to describe their picture-perfect scenario,” she says. “From there, I infuse data analysis into the situation so we can better identify their needs within the reality of our market.”
On top of continuing to serve in law enforcement, Christena is also the founder of NorCal First Responder Financial Freedom, a network of first responders who gather to forge new connections while taking control of their financial future. When she’s not with clients or giving back, she can be found relaxing at her Airbnb property in Paso Robles, going for a hike in the foothills with her husband, or grabbing a cup of coffee at MoJoe’s Cafe in Roseville—enjoying all the dynamic culture the Sacramento Valley has to offer.
As her volume maintains its steady growth, Christena intends on scaling up her lasting standards while expanding her reach throughout the region. In the meantime, she looks forward to all the new opportunities that await. “Real estate is such a fantastic industry,” she says. “I would encourage anybody who loves working with people to try it out. After all, as long as you serve your clients with integrity, there’s no limit to where you can go.”
