As the owner of not one but two successful photography studios, Ashley Lowe has proven that a picture is worth 1,000 words. At Heart of Gold Photography, she and her team specialize in headshots and branding services, complete with professional hair, makeup and image consultation. And at Allure Photography, they specialize in ladies boudoir photography, helping women feel empowered no matter what they are balancing at home.
“We spend the extra time in getting to know our clients before they come in for a session and we dedicate the session time to them in making them feel like the superstars they are,” Lowe said of her process for both studios. “Our work atmosphere is like a family working together. It just feels like home every day I walk in.”
And while seemingly everyone is now an amateur photographer with their own devices, Lowe sees that there is a significant demand for professional images that create irreplaceable mementos which can’t be replicated at home.
“With the onslaught of cameras on iPhones and other devices, more images will be taken of people than they have been in any other generation,” she explained.
“However, we will have the least amount of evidence of people’s existence due to the lack of printing of one’s images.”
