Kristin Newby opened Cheveux Lex two years ago with the funds she had been saving since she was 18 and today, it’s clear it was money well spent. “We have a certain culture that is to help our guests achieve their dream hair and feel the best about themselves, not just through the hair that we do, but by being personable and making deeper connections,” Newby explained.
“I have learned so much about owning your own business in the past two years, but the most important lesson I have learned is that you need to grow a culture, not just a company.”
When she considers what the future looks like from Cheveux Lex, Newby is confident in how her business will continue to grow, as well as the future success of the community it serves.
