FINE TOP Warsaw DINING
If one was ever in the need to suffuse romance into life, a visit to AleGloria would be very much in order! The bright interiors are the tasteful amalgamation of cream and strawberry, candle light, polished wood, and gleaming white laced table linen embellished with flowers. Famous restaurateur Magda Gessler is at the helm having taken traditional Polish cuisine to new dimensions; her insights, her creativity, her culinary design, have all made this place one of a kind. Polish goose is a delicacy and Ms. Gessler specializes in dishes made with this healthy, delicious meat: the confit of goose leg with cherry and horseradish sauce; or goose stuffed with dried apricots and walnuts, are examples. With a vast selection of wine from its cellars, and an extensive selection of drinks, AleGloria is indeed Polish hospitality at its modern-day finest. A class experience in a monumental setting!

The elegant Restaurant Belvedere is considered to be a remarkable culinary spot in Warsaw. Its 150 year old architecture combines wondrously with interiors designed by Boris Kudlicka. Comprising the orangery of the Royal Lazienki Park, Belvedere’s gastronomic credentials are underscored by awardwinning Chef Sebastian Olma who brings his experience with Gordon Ramsey and Tom Aikens in the UK. His interpretations combine the best of traditional Polish with modern culinary art, and emphasize sophisticated presentation. Wine pairings by sommeliers Piotr Zieliński and Tomasz Marczak include selections from top Polish vineyards. Valued by those who know Belvedere for the culinary summit that it is, it is no surprise that Michelin has designated it as a 3 Fork & Spoon over the last many years. Corporate events for up to 300 guests can be organized here as well. A class act on all fronts!

When Biały Domek, or The White Manor, opened over a decade ago in the heart of Warsaw’s Old Mokotów, the motivating idea of its founders was to provide an unforgettable dining experience that is increasingly being lost to history. Located within a historic country manor with its beautiful interiors and a serene garden, dining here indeed imparts the feel of traditions that once were typical in a multigenerational Polish family home. With an inspiring menu that encompasses just the right breadth of Polish dishes, the sense of being immersed in an authentic setting is fully realized. A cozy interior, along with garden tables in the summer, makes the place an idyllic venue for a relaxed luncheon or a sumptuous dinner with friends and family, or of course for impressing visiting corporate colleagues. This is indeed a must-have experience in Warsaw!

BORPINCE Zgoda 1, Warsaw phone: +48 22 828 22 44 www.borpince.pl firstname.lastname@example.org
Borpince, a Hungarian-inspired restaurant and wine cellar, is located in the heart of Warsaw. Owner and manager Beata TrónNowak’s Hungarian background makes this place an enclave of authenticity. This is evident as one descends the stairs into the bricks-and-arches basement, home to a selection of over a hundred stellar wines from top Hungarian wine producers. The menu is dynamic and seasonal, made with traditional recipes with many of the ingredients imported directly; the result is original flavors served with a modern bent. The goulash soup; the halaszle, a spicy river fish soup; the traditional pörkölt, a stew with boneless meat and vegetables; and pork mangalica with chestnut puree, are all outstanding. For dessert the Gundel pancake, made with ground walnuts, and served flambéed in a dark chocolate sauce, is an apt high-point to perfect dining!
BEEF PEPPER NAZWA 99 NAZWA RESTAURANT BEEF RESTAURACJI RESTAURACJI N’N’PEPPER & BAR
Beef N’ Pepper, located in the center of town, has quickly established itself as leading steakhouse in Warsaw. Mostly used here is the finest-quality Polish beef, matured and aged for 28 days which makes the meat juicy, crisp and immensely flavorful. Items such as the T-bone, Black Angus, top sirloin, and rib- eye are all truly outstanding! Further completing the equation here menu-wise are appetizers such as tartar of seasoned beef tenderloin with dried yolks; shrimp in soy-oyster sauce with parsley oil, garlic and ginger; and octopus with mango salsa, fresh cucumber and balsamic caviar. The excellent dining experience at Beef and Pepper is significantly enhanced by its well-equipped bar, affording guests a rich array of interesting whiskeys, bourbons, wines and cocktails that combine exceedingly well with the menu. A top-grade place indeed!

Concept 13, located within VITKAC, the splendidly designed new shopping complex in Warsaw’s center is doing as much for culinary contentment as the entire premises is contributing to the world of fashion and style. The interior with dark gloss combined with rawness of wood defines its cutting-edge modern intention, and reflects on the culinary direction of the place—a modern international menu suffused with elements of tradition that makes the gastronomic idea well rounded and complete. With an open kitchen at its core, Concept 13 inspires with preparations such as the teppanyaki— a great form of Kitchen Theater, and an outstanding selection of other inspiring dishes. All this may be accompanied by a selection from an extensive wine list. Concept13 is indeed that special culinary idea which was once only imagined, and now has actually come to be!

D. PAWELEK BRASSERIE WARSZAWSKA
The word brasserie implies a relaxed, upscale setting, professional service, white linen, a simple yet comprehensive menu. Brasserie Warszawska is of course more than that, and is reflective of the combined traditions of Warsaw and Paris, suffused perhaps with elements of the new European modernity. The dishes on the menu, such as the beef fillet with dauphine potatoes and spinach, emphasize simplicity; yet simultaneously reinforce the focus on quality of ingredients, methods of preparation, elegance of appearance, and heavenly flavors. The staff here is passionate about what they do; there is an implied guarantee of service and genuine hospitality. The restaurant has an outstanding bar with original-design stools, champagne and fine cocktails; there is a private room ideal for groups of 12 to 24 guests as well. Brasserie Warszawska is surely an uptick on Warsaw’s culinary map!

BUTCHERY & WINE D. PAWELEK
BUTCHERY & WINE Żurawia 22, Warsaw phone: +48 22 502 31 18 www.butcheryandwine.pl
Butchery & Wine has become the only restaurant in Poland to be awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand, which implies good value for money and which represents a favorite of the Michelin Guides. Speaking to owner Daniel Pawelek it is abundantly clear that his objective is for Butchery & Wine to be known as a place in Warsaw’s center where guests can enjoy outstanding food from a thankfully short menu—this aspect is extremely uncommon and intelligent. Appetizers and dishes such as the roast bone marrow, a classic; seared scallops with boudin noir; Bavette steak with shallots; and cote de boeuf, are all outstanding, perhaps to be followed by dessert such as the spiced pear and apple crumble with vanilla icecream. A comprehensive wine list, and friendly service make Butchery & Wine a top selection!
D. PAWELEK ROZBRAT 20
Rozbrat 20, with its modern Polish cuisine, is now widely considered to be a pillar of the contemporary fine dining trend. Its impressive culinary trajectory is the consequence of the energy and insights of two gastronomic visionaries owner Daniel Pawełek and Chef Bartosz Szymczak. Both of these individuals are driven professionals, inspiring each other to achieve the culinary heights so important for the both of them. Chef Bartosz’s emphasis is on being local, being seasonal, and above all being creative. The majority of the ingredients he uses are in fact sourced by him from local farmers within a radius of 50 km. around Warsaw and from personally known, reliable vendors. Rozbrat 20 is impressive indeed, serving within its relaxing and less formal atmosphere a modern Polish menu where the dishes are light, elegant, and full of flavor. A must-have dining experience in Warsaw!

KIELISZKI NA PRÓŻNEJ Próżna 12, Warsaw phone: +48 501 764 674 www.kieliszkinaproznej.pl
Daniel Pawelek, the talent behind stellar restaurants Butchery & Wine, Brasserie Warsaw, and Rozbrat 20, teamed up with Paul Demianiuk, one of the country’s finest sommeliers, to create Kieliszki na Próżnej. Located on Próżna, once the center of the Warsaw Ghetto, and now ironically Warsaw’s culinary cutting edge, Kieliszki is where wine plays first fiddle to what’s on one’s plate. The creative Polish menu here is traditional yet modernized and served with a “tapas attitude.” The creative fervor leads with an impressive wine portfolio from known producers, and whilst mainly from Europe the dominant source is the various wine regions in Italy. The main wall is adorned with a mural by Mariusz Tarkawian and is titled “Lexicon of 2015”---quite clearly a reflection of the fact that the vocabulary here is one of wine, and how it should converse with food. A remarkably refreshing place indeed!
D. PAWELEK KIELISZKI NA HOZEJ
Kieliszki na Hożej is a continuation of Daniel Pawelek’s collaborative effort with star Polish sommelier Paweł Demianiuk. Chef Karol Zygmunt’s classic approach is indeed that of a craftsman, artisanal in its ethos. He pays strong attention to the seasons and on local products, extracts as much flavor as possible so that the dishes “simply allow nature to flow through.” Zygmunt rediscovers forgotten culinary methods, flavors, and traditions, updating these with modern, sophisticated, and practical forms. His culinary inspirations include potato with mackerel stock, yolk and spring onion; Polish lamb with broad beans, chanterelles, young cabbage and gooseberry; and Sękacz, or the traditional spit cake with blueberries and pudding for dessert. There are over 250 wines by the glass; the Sommelier’s deep knowledge of what goes best with what transforms this into a memorable dining experience!

HOZA opened in 2013, remains as one of the city’s top Argentinean steakhouses. Chefs Mateusz Regulski and Przemek Grzywacz are at the culinary helm here ensuring that the steaks and seafood dishes are truly special. Located in the city’s heart in a building from 1900 which miraculously survived the War, the ambience here is lifted by exposed brick walls, industrial period lamps, and matching artwork. The historical aspects of the city thus combine here with meaningful dining, the Argentinean thrust amplified with the sound of Latin jazz! The kitchen’s output is complemented by a collection of over 150 wine labels stocked in its cellar, and a collection of over 40 whiskeys. His culinary spectrum allows one to savor a refined palette of flavors, a resultant of the freshness of ingredients and creativity, served up in tempting, aromatic, delightful compositions. Chef Lukasz Andruszkiewicz brings his experience from working at significant restaurants such as Jacob & Gabriel restaurant in Norway, as well as in Warsaw; he has received a Chef Hat from Gault & Millau. Furthermore, his team in the kitchen consists of other winners of prestigious culinary competitions, underscoring Strefa’s depth of talent. The menu here is inspired by traditional recipes melded with modernity and a Scandinavian approach; the focus is on the origin and quality of ingredients, and on the harmony of presentation. U Fukiera, a townhouse restaurant in the Old Town’s Main Square has as its creator Magda Gessler, Poland’s top culinary celebrity and chef par excellence. Her signature is everywhere—in the flowerdecked interiors, in the rich blend of traditional furniture and colorful tapestry, and of course in the execution of the finest in Polish cuisine served with refined style and sophistication. Ms. Gessler’s vision, now over 28 years ago, was to create a special place to present to visitors from all over what Poland had to offer in terms of its remarkable culinary traditions. So much of what appears from the kitchen here is what Ms. Gessler learned from her grandmother, who was a treasure trove of authentic recipes! What adds immeasurably is the focus on quality of ingredients which are brought in fresh daily from the local markets. U Fukiera has indeed brought so much dining joy over the years to countless visiting dignitaries, celebrities, and guests, making it into an actual culinary institution!

Restaurant Warszawska located within the Hotel Warszawa is designed to be a relaxing spot to meet with friends, colleagues, or clients. A large glass kitchen, as well as its expansive spaces are characteristics that make one recognize the “special-ness” of this place. Chef Dariusz Barański’s menu is based on Polish cuisine, and on local and seasonal products from trusted suppliers who provide high quality, healthful organic products, and guarantee freshness. Mangalica pork, bred specifically for the restaurant, is used for the meat dishes; the restaurant also matures its own cold cuts, and has a smokehouse and woodburning grill. With the former vodka factory in Warsaw’s Praga now transformed into Plac Konesera, a trendy new hot-spot, Restaurant ZONI has indeed become the showcase of this metamorphosis. This expansive restaurant encompasses the actual distillery; reflective of the fact that ZONI is indeed the heart of this development. Expertly managed by Arkadiusz Zochowski, the kitchen is led by Chef Aleksander Baron, a master himself of culinary transformations. Taking the traditions of Polish cuisine and recasting them into new forms is his forte. Dishes such as the aged Polish beef steak, seasoned with koji to enrich the meat’s flavor and tenderness, served with Jerusalem artichoke and with anchovy and caper sauce is an example of his amalgamations. All dishes of course are paired with the right vodka, or wine of course, making this a memorable dining experience in an exciting, breathtaking environment!

Casa Ristoranti, located in the city center, is best defined by the word “casa” --here it takes on a special meaning to reflect the flavors, the warmth and hospitality of what one expects in a home. This is truly authentic Italian cuisine, and what helps is the fact that ingredients are brought in directly from Italy! The menu is simple yet comprehensive, with methods of preparation identical to what they would be in a kitchen in Italy. The emphasis is on a variety of fresh vegetables, and the abundant use of oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary, parmesan cheese and olive oil—the foundations of the kitchen. Dishes on the menu such as the fish and seafood soup; the tagliatelle with squid ink, shrimp, cherry tomatoes, garlic, chili, olive oil, and white wine; and the chicken pizza with mozzarella, spinach, pesto, and sundried tomatoes, are all satisfying. Indeed a top Italian experience!

Located diagonally across from the Presidential Palace Giovanni Rubino has become an Italian institution in its own right. Having celebrated its 25th birthday in 2016, this outstanding place is where modern Mediterranean fare rooted in traditional Italian has been created by Chef Piotr Rybicki who has been at the helm of culinary affairs since it opened in 1991. This long unfaltering collaboration over the years between owner and chef has resulted in interesting variations such as Pizza Pizzaiolo with Parma ham and arugula, spaghetti with mussels, and the much-indemand pork fillet with mushroom sauce. With a well-appointed bar which leads to a chic, semi-private chamber, great homemade desserts, a committed and friendly staff, and an endearing value-for-money ethos, Giovanni is where everyone wants to come back to over and over again! The Long Bar, a signature of the Raffles brand since its inception at the Raffles Singapore over a century ago, is now open here in Warsaw. This historical lineage now combines marvelously with a contemporary Polish feel represented through the tiled murals of Jarosław Fliciński. The long, sleek bar counter is crafted of white Carrera marble, echoed in a white, circular marble fireplace across the lounge. The menu offering focuses on Asia with dishes influenced by the excellent varieties of street food. A list of sophisticated, elegant cocktails includes Raffles classics such as the famous Singapore Sling. Warsaw’s own addition, besides bespoke Europejski Chopin vodka, is a gin based concoction which draws on local flavors including quince, gingerbread, and nalewka, a Polish liqueur. This is the new go-to bar in Warsaw, a wonderful place indeed for a memorable evening!

IN WARSAW HOTEL WARSZAWA
When history and an inspiring vision for the future converge, great things emerge and are born. This can surely be said about the newly opened Hotel Warszawa, once the tallest building in the land when it came to be in 1934, known then as The Prudential. A symbol of the Warsaw Uprising, it withstood the onslaught of the Nazis in 1944, yet stands transformed today. Its rebirth borders on the spiritual, the reincarnation of a monument’s soul into a higher form, now as a superluxurious hotel for the world to admire. Vision and labor has melded marble, with bright chromes and warm wood, with original concrete ceilings in harmony with the new, all coming together to create a sense of unique elegance. The emphasis here is on relaxation and renewal; topnotch restaurants, a spa with treatments, a fitness centre, and a pool all make Hotel Warszawa stand taller than the rest!

Spring Action Treatments for Spectacular Results Coolsculpting - for many difficult areas • treatment owes its effects to cold, and how that shapes the figure. It en sures permanent loss of up to 27% of existing fat cells. After these have been crystal lized (due to. freezing) they die and the body removes them through the lymphatic sys tem; • In most cases, one can see a clear reduction in body fat with just a single treatment for a given area as: sides, inner side of thighs, chin, back, arms, belly.
Collagen - To Inhibit the Aging Process • From the age of 25, collagen gradually disappears within our skin. The first signs of aging appear with initial wrinkles forming, the skin losing elasticity and becoming thin ner and flaccid; • Patients begin to complain about hamsters, limp chin, and poorer skin all over the body. One can stimulate the skin by subjecting it to mesotherapy with the use of collagen preparations; Injected collagen is analogous to the collagen produced by the human body, so it does not cause any allergic reactions and is considered safe; • Due to these injections patients gain fibroblast stimulation for the production of col lagen fibers, this also helps in the formation of new blood vessels; • From 2 to 4 treatments are recommended every 14-21 days. The result lasts about 12 months; • Collagen is also used in the treatment of scars, acne scars and stretch marks. Injecting into facial skin, into the neckline and in flaccid areas of the whole body such as the abdomen, knees, inner thighs, arms, produces the desired results. Her methods are almost artisanal, her one-by-one designs carefully include even the shapes of modern glass vases to enhance the impressive effects.
