Succulent steaks from the wood-fired grill, and Italian elements such as the tagliatelle with shrimps, mussels, and octopus, all contribute to making the menu truly comprehensive. For dessert, the unique, orange-flavored crème brulée, or the salted caramel tart are equally delightful. With live music at weekends, this place is indeed ideal for business meetings, or a relaxing time spent with friends!

In the center of Warsaw, steps from the Copernicus monument, a young couple’s love story has manifested as Nieklotnia. Iza and Sebastian have indeed created a place which reflects their passion, intellectual bent, and their deep love for gastronomy. ‘Klotnia’ means quarrel, ‘Nie-klotnia’ conversely means harmony, and so this is a place truly from the heart, where food, people, and atmosphere all come together, joyously and delightfully!
Guided by the seasons, the menu embraces truffles in autumn, fresh greens in spring, vibrant flavors in summer, and comforting warmth in winter. The menu is short, both exciting as well as exacting, thoughtfully crafted, balancing tradition with creativity, each dish coming in two versions— one classical, the other with a bold, intriguing twist. Desserts are a symphony of contrasts, where sweet and savory notes dance in perfect unison. Exquisite flavors, fine wine, and moments to savor, always enhanced by the warm and welcoming service at Nieklotnia!

AWARDED THE BEST PIZZERIA IN THE WORLD IN 2024, by AVPN!
JĘDRZEJ AND LILIANNA LEWANDOWSKY WITH THEIR WOOD-FIRED FORNO ACUNTO ANGOLARE!
Jędrzej Lewandowski represented Poland at the Olimpiadi Vera Pizza Napoletana 2018, the International Olympics for Neapolitan pizza making where over 200 professionals from all over the world took part. His ‘Margherita’ brought the team high recognition and was amongst the top ten ‘Under 35’ medalists. In 2024, Jędrzej and Lilianna also took part in the ‘La Pizza Più Alta d’Europa’ expedition, during which the AVPN association baked a wood-fired pizza at an altitude of 3,466 meters at the summit of Mont Blanc. Bravo!
- Ranked as the Best Pizzeria in the World by AVPN for 2024;
- Ranked #18, 50 Top Pizza Europe 2025, Madrid;
- Ranked #97 amongst 100 best pizzerias in the World by 50 Top Pizza World, Napoli 2024; - Ranked #20 amongst 50 Top Pizza Europe, Madrid 2024;
- Awarded ‘Top Pizzeria in Poland 2024’ and ‘Best Fried Food Europe 2024, Madrid 2024; - Ranked #44 at the Campionato Mondiale Della Pizza, Parma 2023.

When J ę drzej and Lilianna Lewandowsky decided to give up their jobs as architects to pursue their passion, the couple turned their studio into a restaurant. Little would they have known that their endeavor, Zielona Gorka, in Pabianice (near Łódź), would in 2024 be ranked as the Number 1 pizzeria in the world by AVPN (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana)! AVPN is the authority for verifying true authenticity; these standards are now enshrined within the UNESCO Cultural Heritage List! The kitchen at Zielona Górka is akin to a theater stage; interestingly the pizzaioli (pizza chefs) working here are also accomplished musicians who have a shared passion for making pizza! Their “instrument” here though is a genuine wood-fired brick oven, a Forno Acunto Angolare; the “symphonies” emanating from which are the over forty types of pizza for which guests arrive from far and wide to savor and applaud. This workshop of passion is a true, living masterpiece!

Cyrano de Bergerac’s top reputation as a French-inspired restaurant goes back to when it opened its doors in 1997. Located just steps from Krakow’s Main Square, its historic setting within a multi-level cellar was once a place where mead or honey wine was brewed over 160 years ago! The décor comprising rich tapestries, antique furniture, and artwork goes together with an impeccable staff— all making dining here at a class which is now increasingly rare. The stellar menu attracts guests from all over— with starters such as the terrine de foie gras, to exhilarating main dishes such as the snails bathed in wild garlic and forest mushrooms, frog legs in tender Savoy cabbage laced with bacon, and the celebrated Wellington tenderloin in golden pastry and a velvet pepper sauce. For dessert, the crème brulée with vanilla bourbon is always a favorite choice. And the well-compiled wine list, mostly French derived, is designed to pair excellently with the menu. A memorable experience!

Owner Magdalena Luchetta Łodzińska, hails from a family of trusted restaurateurs; interestingly she is also an accomplished equestrian, seen in the many photographs from her collection that deck the walls. The name ‘Kawaleria’ translates to Cavalry; the imagery of charging horses and nobility bridging perfectly with her commitment to serve a quality of cuisine once reserved for the elites. It’s about authentic recipes, finest country-raised ingredients, and elaborate cooking techniques; an outstanding example is the wild boar in red wine, served with barley risotto, boletus mushrooms and salads!
The excellent wine list has selections which match well with items on the menu.
‘Saddled’ at a table inside, or perhaps outside in the charming garden, one feels transported here to a more genteel era!

Filo, means ‘friend’ in Greece; the name captures the welcoming spirit of this bistro in the heart of Kraków’s Old Town. Created out of the love for honest food and meaningful connection, Filo brings a relaxed, Greek-Mediterranean-inspired approach to dining. The warm, natural interior blends wood, stone, and soft lighting to create an inviting space that feels both timeless and personal. INDIGO WARSAW-NOWY ŚWIAT
When history and an inspiring vision for the future converge, great things emerge and are born. This can surely be said about the Hotel Warszawa! This was once the tallest building in the land when it was originally built in 1934, known then as The Prudential. It became a symbol of the Warsaw Uprising as it withstood the onslaught of the Nazis in 1944. It now stands transformed, its rebirth bordering on the spiritual; this indeed is the reincarnation of a monument’s soul into a higher form. This super-luxury hotel is a landmark that the world admires for its architectural vision. Marble combines harmoniously with bright chromes, warm wood, and original concrete ceilings, all coming together to create a sense of unique elegance. The emphasis here is on relaxation and renewal; top-notch restaurants, a spa with treatments, a fitness center, and a pool all make Hotel Warszawa stand taller than the rest!

The History of Polish Jews
POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews offers a profound journey through 1000 years of Jewish life in Poland. Located next to an extensive green area, and to the Monument to the Ghetto Heroes, this is both a cultural landmark as well as a place of reflection. Opened in 2014, on the site of the former Warsaw Ghetto, it houses an award-winning Core Exhibition which traces a vibrant culture shaped by coexistence, tragedy, and renewal. The Core Exhibition consists of galleries available for viewing with multilingual guides; highlights include a dazzling reconstruction of the 18thcentury Gwo ź dziec synagogue roof. The minimalist glass exterior of the Museum building, designed by the Finnish studio Lahdelma & Mahlamäki, gives way to a dramatic, light-filled interior of curved forms and symbolic space. The Museum’s WARSZE Bistro serves modern takes on traditional dishes from Polish-Jewish cuisine. POLIN is indeed a must-see place on Warsaw’s cultural map!
